Michael-Towne Wines & Spirits, situated in the historic Hotel St. George, has been serving the Brooklyn Community for nearly 75 years. We maintain an extensive inventory of domestic and international wines from California to South Africa as well as Europe. We carry organic and kosher wines to suit every palate and price point. Would you like something special let us take care of it. Visit our tastings every Thursday and Friday (5 to 8 PM) and Saturdays (4 to 7 PM) to experience some of the greatest wines and spirits produced. From management to the experienced staff, we are dedicated to improving service, products and appearance. We welcome your business, but more importantly we will never take it for granted. Hours: Monday through Saturday 10 AM to 10 PM Sundays 12 PM to 6 PM

I needed a extremely good quality bottle of wine to be given as a gift. I used this site and the star rating of this business to pick the business. I could of not picked a better store. Polite, knowledgable, wounderful customer service, and speedy delivery. As an out of state client not knowing anything about the store; they were very helpful in every aspect of the transaction. They always have the appropriate wine every time. If they do not have what you are looking for, they can offer a better alternative, and sometimes are able to special order what you need. Wonderful selection of wine and liquors.

Must Visit!

I have visited this store on many occasions and for many occasions! I have always left with the perfect wine to complement the evening's dinner or the appropriate cordial to bring to a celebratory event. To be very honest, I never knew much about wine, but I am learning. In this large, well lit shopper friendly store, they carry wines from all over the world. In different sections, there are postings which tell you where the wines come from and what they are like. The staff is very helpful and are always available to make recommendations, as they are knowledgeable about their products. They have tastings too! Check out the tasting schedule and enjoy! You wont be disappointed with your purchase or shopping experience.

Best wine store in Brooklyn

No matter what the occasion, they have helped me find the perfect bottle of wine. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff with a great selection of reasonably priced wines. They also have helped me pick a great selection for a wine and cheese tasting party I had, as well as helped my pick great wines to go with meals I have made.
