A quiet hip joint
by Anonymous
Right on the edge of Lil Tokyo, snugged in between a sushi place and what appears to be a steakhouse trended out- is Blue Dahlia.
The past year, this establishment evolved and is now a cafe by day and a wine bar by night.
Their palette appears to be tailored towards the Italian, without the conventional pasta. Paninis are quite good.
Price range is a bit pricey, so maybe not a place that you would want to frequent, but maybe visit once awhile.
Place is pretty quiet, so if you're looking for something quite intimate and hip...this is the place for you.
PROS: quiet and intimate
CONS: a bit pricey (but quality does come with a price tag)

Hidden jewel of the Little Tokyo, a great getwaway

This is a perfect getaway from a busy LA scene. If you are first time visitor, be sure to check out the back patio. You feel like that you are out of a this world (at least out of LA). Great food, excellent coffee, and even better ambiance. What more can you ask? This is a truly a hidden jewel of Little Tokyo.
