Before Susan
In the past, I would have had to look through approximately four stuffed full drawers worth of completely unorganized papers in hopes of locating something I vaguely remember having. Then when I got frustrated and ran out of time for the paper chase ? I would have gone online and spent another couple of hours pulling down various information - which I would then print out and then ?file: with the other papers in those same 4 drawers ? meaning no hope of finding it again in 6 months let alone a year or two down the road.

NOW, after working with Susan,
I know what I have and I can locate it quickly and easily!
My marketing how to?s are together with my marketing materials, my project references resources are organized by type and category and EASILY retrievable, my business finances are filed in a way that my accountant can work with, ETC.

Every day, I save time and money because I know what I have and where to find it. That?s the physical part. The psychological part is huge relief and peace of mind and the mental space to concentrate on what is important in developing and managing a successful business.

I had been wanting to be ?better organized?/less cluttered for years. Now I am and it is wonderful!

Through working closely with her clients, she develops a concept about how the client's spaces should be organized and put in order so that the client knows where everything is, how to access it, and how to keep things in that area orderly from then on. Even though I didn't think I could afford her, I desperately needed her. When Susan first visited our house there were piles and piles of paper everywhere. Before she started working for me, I used ?the piles-of-paper system? which always ended up covering every surface in my office at least eighteen inches high -- until I couldn?t find things anymore. Susan patiently and with great focus, coached me into thinking in a more organized way, then put my current system together. Then she managed it for me in less than one day per week thereafter. The subjects within the system include: financial and legal record keeping, numerous projects in my real estate development business, a wide variety of organizations and background materials related to civic and public policies interests I am involved with, and miscellaneous other subjects. With precision and alacrity, she also researched and compiled specific data and documentation from my files when I needed a ten-year summary of home improvements for my accountant.
Susan is honest, astute, caring and makes sure what she is doing is actually beneficial and working. Her indexing and cross referencing system is not only useful, it makes up for my senior memory questions, like: ?Now where did I put that?? She was also resourceful, creative and flexible when the system wasn?t quite working the way it was intended. She believes in service and brings a sparkling enjoyment to her work. She made me feel upbeat about chaos, because I knew she?d find a way to bring order.
Though I did not have need for it, she also manages rental properties and provides other services for other clients. What a gem. If you need someone to assist you part-time in a variety of ways, don?t hesitate, incorporate her into your schedule before someone else gets her first.
