Metropolitan Gymnastics

This gym may appear like it is going to have great coaches and good technique, but looks can be deceiving. I recently moved here from Texas and begun my search for gyms so my daughter could continue in competitive gymnastics. I tried this gyms team program and was appalled at the coaching and the way the owners treated the the gymnasts , barking orders and shouting at the kids. I was a level 10 gymnast in my younger days so I know some things about gymnastics and after talking to the owners came to realize they did not know a whole lot the owner was not even a gymnast she was an acro tumbler, this is not even close to the same thing. half the people coaching there were never gymnasts, and the kept telling me that their coaches were trained in russian technique and it was the best way of coaching. Being a former gymnast I can tell you that this is a false statement. and makes no sense. I went homed and googled the owners name to check her out and could find nothing on her acro career i did however find her msn website with her curssing ,drinking, and talking about taking antidepressents. I found a diffrent gym in Kent and am very happy

This gym is a very nice gym. I went there to help myself improve during my high school gymnastics season. The coach i had was very inspiring and very nice. The only thing that was a little bit intimidating was that the girls were all better than I was. But overall, it is a well equipped gym.
