A Childs World Preschool/Daycare

i took my little girl to her first year of preschool and at first it was great but as time went on melea had a party for the kids were she was told time and again that my daughter was allergic to peanuts! so when she brought out a batch of cookies with traces of peanuts i was shocked that she would put the kid's health in jeopardy if my little girl would have eaten a cookie she could have easily died from an allergic reaction! i too would not recommend this preschool/daycare to any parent! i too feel as though she only wants the money and the kid's are NOT what matters!!

I would have to agree with the post below this one, not to mention that Melea assured us that herself or one of her staff members would be the only ones picking the kids up from school... however she was sending a large number of different people to pick the children up whom they had never even met. I feel as thought this goes against anything and everything you teach you kids about strangers and getting into cars with them. I could go on and on about different situations we faced while our children were in A Child's World Day Care, however I am sure you can grasp that I would not recommend her to my worst enemy, she is not even worth the star they make you give while rating her service on this website.

For the outside looking in, it looks like a dream come true. But as I found out quick enough, looks can be very deceiving. Unorganized, lack of responsibility, unprofessional, money hungry, selfish & ignorant would be only a few of thoughts I have of them. They rave on and on about how much they love the children and parents but when you are forced to take out your children due to day cares actions, that all changes very quickly. They are over their ratio's given to them by the state, have had several complaints but still fail to meet up to Utah State's standards. I was very unsatisfied with them along with many other parents. They have different people every day picking up the kids and are often so late dropping them off and picking them up that the school calls to check if anyone is coming and if everything is OK. I feel when you put that much trust into someone to watch the most valuable things such as your kids, you shouldn't have to worry everyday about their well being and safety.
