A friend referred us to Grand Adventures and I'm so grateful for that advice. This was truly the best tour that I've ever taken in my life. I was able to read other reviews on other sites and was skeptical over such great praise. After all, Las Vegas is what it is and it's about making money. Well folks, the red carpet has been rolled out for you again! Grand Adventures is fabulous and our tour guide, Darryl, is just a fantastic guide who truly loves showing people the Grand Canyon. He was very kind and considerate and we felt right away that this tour was not about making money. It was about making us feel good and showing us a great time and they did all of that. So, into the tour we shall go.

Darryl picked us up at 9:00 for the sunset tour. He was on time (about 5 minutes early) and we were the first that he picked up. He wasted no time at all breaking the ice and getting to know us. We hit it off well and that was it. We talked the entire way up to the Grand Canyon, of course making a stop at McDonald's (included in the tour), Hoover Dam, Route 66 (where we met the famous Angel Delgadillo who Darryl seems to know well), and a few bathroom breaks. We arrived at the Grand Canyon around 2:30 and began our guided tour. We actually walked on a side of the park where there are no big tour buses and it was just so quiet and peaceful that we loved it. We were not rushed one bit at all and I truly appreciated that. I took 234 pictures, mainly because we had the time and pleasure to do so. Darryl even showed us a few tricks to taking pictures there and it was really cool. He's also a great photographer so don't let him be modest with you! We stopped along our walk and had one huge picnic that was just great. We sat right on the edge of the Grand Canyon and had a picnic. I never dreamed of such an experience and it was wonderful. We finally reached Hopi Point where we watched the sun set. Darryl took a ton of pictures of us and the sunset was one of the most beautiful things I've seen in my life. It's well worth it. Couple in the fact that Grand Adventures does such a great job and you're in for the experience of a lifetime! The tour was fabulously organized and we did not waste one moment of time. Definitely take a tour with them!
