I am always pleased with the service and treatment by Liz and the staff at David Michael. I followed liz from another salon. She colors and cuts my hair and always does a great job!

I have very coarse curly (Latina) hair and when I left the salon it was nice, straight and silky !!! Audi is the best and I'll definitely be back to this salon!!

A friend recommended Rose at this salon. Tired of trekking into the city for a high-end haircut, I was hopeful but skeptical that a salon in NJ would be able to provide a comparable experience. Rose gave one of the best haircuts I've had in years and the salon service was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Rosie is the best, my hair is healthier and longer because of her. Best Salon ever hands down and I can not forget the friendly staff..I recommend this salon.

I showed up with over bleached and dry hair and left with new highlights and a sleek new haircut. Many thanks to Audi, she has restored me. I found the shop to be so very comfortable and accomodating.
Kudos to Audi and the staff of David Michael Salon. I highly recommend them!

I am not from NJ but I recently had my wedding there. I was afraid of trusting any place to do my hair. ROSIE did a great job! It poured on my wedding day and my very curly hair did not even frizz. Same with my mother's. ELVA did our make up and we loved it. Everyone there is very professional and very welcoming. The girls truly made me and my mother feel beautiful on my wedding day!

I have had my hair cut twice at David Michael. The first time was by Elva. She was friendly and did a good job. Not the best haircut I've ever had, but a solid job. Not completely worth the money, but it was still pretty good. She seemed to understand pretty well what I wanted.

The second time, Liz cut my hair. She was extremely friendly, but I did not like the way she cut my hair *at all*. I was very straightforward and simple in explaining what I wanted--nothing facy, nothing difficult. She totally missed the mark. I cried when I got home and found that even restyling it did not help. Definitely not worth my money, and I will not go back.

Despite my horrendous haircut, the staff is friendly and professional. My bad haircut is the only major drawback (which, of course, is a pretty huge drawback for a hair salon).

I would rather pay more somewhere else and get a better quality cut.

I was referred by one of my co-workers about this new salon David michaels and I have to say. BRAVO!! I have never been somewhere where i've received this kind of treatment...from the most respectful front desk to the most nicest assistant (thanks Nicole) to the most beautiful color highlight and haircut ever. Thank you Elva so much for the wonderful experience!

Liz Di Stasi is a Bright new addition to The David Michael Salon.
Thank Goodness that there is now a modern, beautiful, happy space for Liz's 20 year client base to go to receive her extraordinary service.
Thanks to Liz's relocation we can now enter the 21st century and going to the salon can be a luxurious, relaxing experience. Bravo!!!!

My husband and I recently moved to New Jersey and the hardest part for me was finding a new hair salon! I took a chance on David Michael Hair Studio because it is onmy way home from work and I am very pleased I did. I was able to pull right in and find a parking spot, which was such a plus driving home from NYC. When I enterd the salon the receptionist was friendly and polite and I only needed to wait a few short minutes for my stylist. The salon is very fresh and new; modern without being pretentious. I received a wonderful haircut. My stylist was obviously a master in her field because I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair before. I will certainly return to David Michael Salon. It is convenient and reasonably priced, and Elva does beasutiful work.

I recently had my haircut done by Elva, and although it was very well done, I'm not completly satisfied by the way it is growing back. I'm still thinking about returning to David Michaels, but I may switch stylists to see how the results vary.

My experience at many salons has been ok to so so, I have found my home at David Micheals with their stylist ELVA. If you are unsure or know exactly what you want she is the one to go too, Her Ideas are so on track you will not regret it. If you come and see her work you will never go anywhere else. I drive quite a distance to get there, but I will go no where else. ELVA is a scholar in her profession she has such a good eye for making good into great it is incredible. You will thank me one day if you try her at David Micheals. THE BEST!

I've been a client of David Michael for as long as I can remember. I was so excited to learn that he was opening up a Hair Studio. And let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. David Michael Hair Studio does not disappoint. They provide warm and friendly customer service from the moment you walk in the door. My cut and highlights look fabulous and I get great compliments. I don't live in Bergen County but, it is worth the trip!

I don't live in Bergen county so this is a bit of a trip for me. I heard about it from a friend. It was well worth the trip. First of all, everyone is friendly and professional. At the same time, I felt totally comfortable. The owner obviously not only has taste in decor but also stylists. The place is amazing and my mom and I have gotten nothing but complements. Now that's spanning from age 40 something to age 70 something. That, to me, says quite a bit.
We both are very pleased and surely WILL return!

When my stylist, Elva, left Panico to follow David Michael in his new salon, I of, course, followed, too. After all, it is so hard to find a great hairdresser, and I was definitely ready for a change in scenery. From the first time I walked in David Michael salon, I knew I made the right choice. The front desk staff were warm and friendly, the salon itself was clean, modern, yet warm and comfortable and the overall vibe was very positive. No more pouty hairdressers with scowls on their face, or being made to wait an hour after your appointment time because some VIP walked in just before you got there, or impersonal, could-care-less service. Elva continues to do a fantastic job, I love feeling like I am valued as a customer, and not to mention the bonus "birthday discount" or "refer a friend program!" Congratulations David and staff... you have my loyalty!

I am extremely pleased to write that my experience at David Michael Hair Studio was nothing but pleasant. I will say that I was a devoted Panico client for over 10 years, but there came a certain point that the frustration of looking for parking on Ridgewood Avenue, to the lack of front desk service & even the very uncomfortable wash chairs that leaked all over the place took it's toll on my once high opinion of Panico. It is a pleasure to finally find a place that makes you feel welcome and appreciated from the moment you walk in. The decor is nothing short of fabulous and has such an relaxing aura through out, there is no gossip, or catty looks going on in this fine establishment. I applaud Mr. Michael for creating a space as rare as his salon.

I recently followed my stylist from Panico's in Ridgwood and discovered that she had went to David Michael Hair Studio. Wow, what a difference. Everything was wonderful, from the front desk staff to the clean bathrooms with individual hand linens. I went on a Saturday and had cheese and crackers, chocolate, and indiviually brewed coffee. The best thing is my stylist seemed so happy and of course did a wonderful job with my hair. They even sent me a text message to my cell phone to remind me of my appointment. Just a wonderful experience and well worth the price.
