When work was done waterproofing mother's basement, the worker's left the original drainage sump untouched, in fact, they disconnected the pump in it and assured my mother she wouldn't need it . Work was done in August 2009. On 12/11/09 the basement is flooding. Calls to the company's main number unanswered (877-661-9283). You have to leave a voicemail. Call to the Piscataway NJ number (888-573-3724) was answered. Waiting on a call from the "Service Rep; Frank."
Been over 2 hours and am still waiting. Am not confident these people stand behind their work. My question is: What idiot leaves an open sump in a wet basement and thinks the sump will not flood? 15 thousand dollars spent and my mother's basement is still flooding.

i got multiple estimates. i chose Healthy Home. i am a plumber so i know a little about this type of work & i know what it costs to do it right. the companies giving me $5000 quotes i stayed away from. you cannot fix a water & mold issue properly in that price range. unfortunately most consumers do not know that & thats how these companies stay in business. Healthy Home fixed my problem and then remodeled my basement. my wife & i couldn't be happier!!

I had a serious water & mold issue. It was making my kids sick!! I got 6 estimates (Healthy Home, MidAtlantic, Aqua-Dri, Vulcan, Value Dry, Quality First) & the prices ranged from $6000 to $15000. This caused me to do my homework. I thoroughly checked out the companies & spoke to a structural engineer, hydrologist & industrial hygienist to get advice. I showed them all of the estimates. All three of them chose Healthy Home. The engineer & hydrologist stated that Healthy Home was the only company that did everything necessary to keep my foundation dry & structurally sound. The hygienist stated that Healthy Home was the only company doing the mold remediation properly. The 4 other companies (MidAtlantic does not fix mold issues) were only performing sanitization which really doesn't do much for a mold problem. Though all of their salesmen tried to make it seem like they were getting rid of the mold.

After I signed the agreement with Healthy Home everything moved along perfectly. The crew was prompt, very neat & courteous. When the job was done they sent their Service Manager, Frank, to check everything & make sure I was happy with the work. Since then it has rained alot & not a drop of water. The smell is completely gone & my kids are feeling much better. I owe a lot to Healthy Home & would recommend them to anyone that has a water or mold issue. I wish all contractors were like these guys!!

I agreed to have Healthy Homes do some work for me, after waiting six months for them to start, the work was done. I called several times to get a service call, and when they did come, they tried to charge me for additional work to repair something they installed, I disagreed. They asked me to wait till the frost line had thawed, I agreed. I have since made three phone calls, and have emailled my sales rep. I got a call from someone who said "the service department will have to call you back" I am still waiting (a week) I also received an email from my sales rep, and I wrote to explain that I had some problems ...... he never wrote back. Right now I have broken brick on my walkway, I have what they call a flow well (2) that actually flood my lawn, and when the pipe on the discharge becomes full, water squirts everywhere in the front of my home. They did nice work on the basement wall and french driain, but based on their responsiveness, or lack of, to service problems (life time warranty), I would not recomend them to anyone.

Pros: they did nice work

Cons: would not fix problems after they are paid
