I had the worse experience with this day spa I have ever had - the don't seem to care to keep customers happy, they seem to only be concerned to stick with charges that they don't advise you about and then when you asked them to reverse them they basically tell you then don't care to keep you as a customer (almost verbatim from Wendy, the manager I spoke with).
On December 23, I booked an appointment to get botox - when I got there, the doctor they have on Tuesdays was creepy - I have gotten botox many times before and this was the first time I was not comfortable with the doctor - he did not listen to my concerns of losing some expression in my face if I got too much - he kept pushing how many units "the company" had been doing for the past 10 years and THAT was was he recommended - it felt he was there to sell as many units as he could rather than listen to what the patient wanted - his demeanor was condescending and his bed side manners were completely non existent, we sort of compromised on the amount I would get but before he left the room, he told me I would have to wait a WHILE because his nurse was busy - so after realizing how uncomfortable I was, I decided to leave the room and stopped on my way out to let the receptionist know that I was not comfortable with the doctor and would not be having the treatment - she accepted my reason and said it was OK to leave - a week later I get a charge of $125 on my card - I called to ask what it was for since I had not been advised of any charge during the reservation, the consultation or before I left - I spoke with Barbara at Dr Nad's office and then Wendy, the manager at the SPA - both of them, specially Wendy, could care less about my experience and Wendy went as far as to say that she did not care to keep me as a customer - I am in the service industry and I know that the cost of losing ONE customer far exceeds the $125 I was asking to be reimbursed - I had never been advised that this charge would be assessed and both of them said I wouldn't have since I was there or a treatment - kind of deceiving won't you think?
So bottom line is, this spa does not disclose openly their charges, the doctor they have for botox is creepy and the manager goes as far as to tell her customers she does not care to keep you as one - I was not rude to either of these ladies, I only stressed that the charge had not been disclosed, yet still, they would not do anything about it or to try to regain me as a customer.
Beware of a spa like this - there are many other options out there for day spas - stay away from this one if you can...

I have been to this spa several times and it's a great, close to home, convenient place to get basic spa services. Twice now I have called at the end of a difficult work day to get a massage and they have always been able to fit me in. Although it is a very tiny place, the rooms are quiet, the ambiance very relaxing, and the service extremely courteous and friendly. It's a little on the high side price-wise but when I feel like the service has been good and the treatment of a good quality, I don't mind paying. Try them out!

I took my husband along for the SPA and he was a bit hesistant at first...BUT after the experience, he wanted to go back! We had a SPA before and this was the first time he actually liked it. He even wanted to try the other services!
He chose the Sweddish Massage and I had the Customized Indulgence Facial. They will give you a form to answer (it's pretty easy so don't worry about it)...so they'll know what products to use depending on your skin type. Val is very friendly and she answered my questions about my skin problems. She also gave me tips on how to take care of my skin and what products to use. The facial was painless and very relaxing. The soothing sound and the ambiance is really nice, the staff is very accomodating. We went out very refreshed with smiles on our faces and we can't stop talking about our treatments and how great it is. They exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to go back! It's really worth it. I highly recommend Indulgence Day & Med Spa :)

Oh my gosh! This place rocks!! I need to get spa treatments once in a while and the ones I've had here were so relaxing that I even fell asleep! I've never had a facial before, but since I was there I figured I'd try it. It was cool. They used this hydro something that cleaned me out pretty good i guess. no blackheads is a nice thing.
AND...the front desk guy is pretty cute. A nice little bonus, right? Everyone is friendly there and not intiditating, like some spas are.

I have been to Indulgence three times in the past few months, each time with Natasha as my therapist. I cannot adequately describe what a great job she does. The ambience of Indulgence is wonderful and the people are so friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Indulgence to anyone who wants a peaceful and relaxing time of indulgence to their senses.

i was having breakouts everywhere and i didnt know what to do, so i booked an appt and Valerie was my skin theripist. she recomended a glycolic treatment and i was so impressed by my results that i am now going every moth to see her i love indulgence and i have many friends going there now. Oh and i have yet to have any more breakouts!!

I am a frequent spa-goer and just found this fabulous retreat in my own back yard. the front desk is so accommodating and pleasant. I had Ty for my massage and she was amazing! She really listened to what I wanted! Tracey was my esthetician and the facial that I had was more than a relaxing experiencing but very informative. Not pushy at all just!!!!!!!! She really cared about my skin issue issues and recommended products and help me work with the products I had at home. I cant believe anyone would rate them a ONE STAR???? Dont worry this spa is exceptionally sanitary .I would know as I work state health!!! This retreat will definitely be my new get away!!

I was disapointed by this spa.... these reviews must have been wriiten by owner. i took my mom for her birthday and we paid for the same service and recieved different services. i got a facial with extras and my mom didnt. IT WAS HER BIRTHDAY!!!! they shortend our service time because THEY were running late not me. the owner was very very rude when i tried to talk to her about it. I will never go there again not to mention the massage therapists are HORRIBLE!!!!!! The place was unsanitary!!!! ewwww!!!!!!Burk williams is down the steet and is awesome : )!!!!!! complextions is the same price range and was way better!!!! As a experienced spa goer DONT GO THERE!!!!!!

i was having a really stressful day and i really needed a break i called Indulgence and they got me in THE SAME DAY i was so happy that they could accommodate me. I had a facial by Valerie and i have to say it was pure bliss!!i love the hot towels. she also did my eyebrows and recommended a great massage therapist for me to see for my next visit . i could not have been any more relaxed and pleased with the service i got. they also have great tea to drink after your treatment. i will defiantly be back soon!!

I've been to so many spas in Long Beach and the surrounding area, but I just loved my visit to Indulgence. I like to treat myself when I can, but this one was a unique experience. From the front desk to my facial by Val, it was very relaxing and my skin has never been smoother. She even talked me into getting a back wax and was very gentle. Then I followed this with a M.T.R. massage for a full 60min not the usual 50min that you might get at other spas, same with the facial. They did things like wrap my feet, massage my scalp all for the same price. All was great.

Indulgence was amazing!! Let me just say that taking 1 hour out of my day to get their deep tissue massage was well worth it. They aren't over priced, they're not mean (like most spas are), they carry great skin care products that actually work (my skin is perfect thanks to them), they have a board certified dermatologist on staff and the best part of it all is when i walk into Indulgence because i literally feel like i'm a million miles away from everything. i've been to mr and mrs day spa in long beach before i even heard about indulgence and you can't even compare the two....indulgence exceeds all expectations! If you want to pamper yourself, get-away from life for a few hours and do it all at a reasonable price...GO TO INDULGENCE...you won't regret it.

its about time a spa in long beach knows how to pamper a man! their smiles made my day and as soon as i sat in the lobby i felt soo relaxed and ready to set up camp and never leave! everyone needs a place like indulgence to unwind and hide from reality!

They made me center of attention

I just moved to the area and I've been getting massages and facials for a long time, and Indulgence is the best one yet. The service was excellent. They made me the center of attention. The atmosphere was very serene. The treatment area's decor immediately instills a sense of peace as you enter. The ambiance is what you want and would expect from a spa. The first time I went for a Deep Tissue Message and was so pleased with the staff and service I asked to be fit in for a Facial. And the Inch Loss Body Wrap has amazing results. Indulgence is great for an all day getaway, or a quick pick me up. I?m in a wedding in a few months and already set up for the Bridal Party day at the spa?
Indulgence primary focus is complete customer satisfaction

Indulgence is the type of spa where you can get a quick massage, facial and wax or spend the entire day getting luxurious treatments for affordable prices. The warm and friendly staff aim to please. The atmosphere alone is a strees reliever. The music in the treatment rooms is so soothing my specialist had to wake me up when my treatment was over. The great thing about Indulgence is that it's in our local area...not two hours away. So even if you only have an hour or two you can still take the time for a little Indulgence. They also offer excellent packages for friends, family or you can treat yourself!!!

Best Spa in Long Beach

I've been to several Spas? in Southern California and I must say that the staff & atmosphere at Indulgence Day & Med Spa in Long Beach are excellent. From the Classic Indulgence facial to the Deep Tissue Massage to the Chemical Peels this spa offers everything any women today would need to make her feel relaxed and pampered. I also meet with a wonderful doctor who specializes in Botox, Restylane, Photofacial Rejuvenation and Juvederm. I take my hat off to this spa recommend that if you are ever in the neighborhood stop in Indulgence Day & Med Spa and see for yourself.
Pros: The staff made me feel very relaxed.
