Animated Canvas Custom Tattoo

Absolutely amazing! Visited the Lexington location on August 27, 2009 with an idea in mind. Spyder (Scot Kumo) was able to bring the photo in my mind's eye to life on my skin. Beautiful work, hospital cleanliness and a great group of people. Highly recommend!

Last Christmas I decided to give my husband a certificate for a tattoo. I scoured the internet trying to find an exceptional artist that would do justice to the tat desgin my husband wanted. I chose Shane Anderson at Animated Canvas to do the custom tattoo for my husband. Only one word to say: FANTASTIC Shane is an incredible artist with a gentle hand. He took my husbands idea and was able to give exactly what my husband had invisioned. My son went to him for his first tat. Someone who has a phobia of needles. He's now talking about the next tattoo he wants to get. Can't wait to save enough money to go and get one for myself! The studio is clean, the people friendly, the prices reasonable. I wouldn't go anywhere else. A top notch establishment with extremely talented artists.

This shop not only houses the best talent in the area, but they have also been voted Best of Columbia 2008 and have dominated the Columbia's Hottest Tattoo Contest two years running. All artists are AWARD WINNING and have been featured in magazines. Trophies and plaques adorn the walls of the shop giving their talent legitimacy. Spyder and Shane have combined experience of tattooing Professionally for over 50 years! I have personally won over 25 awards and been on the cover of International tattoo Contest magazine for the art that Shane Anderson has inked on me. I've been inked all over the country and I think Shane Anderson is the best artist I've come across. I haven't tried the other artists at AC yet, but the place came highly recommended by friends who have really elaborate tattoos and everyone seems to stick with the artists they try first because they're all so talented!DO NOT call around for prices and get a crappy tattoo at the first place that will take you. Been there, done that and had Animated Canvas do the cover up!This is the only place my friends and I will go. If you are serious about quality ink and tattoos that are works of art go to AC.

Spyder is terrific at taking my ideas and turning them into very personal artwork! I've known him for several years and he's the only tat artist I'll let ink me.

Spyder Kumo from Animated Canvas Tattoo has done my entire right arm work. He is a very professional, talented artist. I would only go back to Spyder to have any more work done. he is very very particular about his work. Very much a perfectionist. I sent a few friends to him, and they would all say the same.
Plus he's a funny, friendly fella. Makes you feel calm before the poking.

This studio is so clean and friendly. Expert artists who are not just prepared but eager to discuss with you what you want and make sure that's what you get.These guys are world class operators with down to earth attitudes and a lot of fun.A bright new studio with hygiene standards higher than most hospitals I have seen.Just above the Art Bar they are hard to miss, get yourself down there without delay, if you go anywhere else you will just regret it.
