I am a licensed practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It incorporates Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine to promote health and wellness. My background as a dancer, Pilates trainer and massage therapist have enhanced my intuitive sense of the inner workings of the body and given me a deep understanding of the mind-body connection. I practice with great compassion and care for my patients, encouraging lifestyle and nutritional changes for a lasting and beneficial result. Megan Willdorf is an extraordinary healer. Experience proves she is always gentle, professional, listens and treats her patients appropriately. She successfully treats both acute and chronic health problems.
I tried acupuncture in the 1970?s and again in the 1980?s and was painfully unimpressed, in fact had bad outcomes. A couple of years ago after an accident I was left in chronic pain requiring medication apparently for life. Everywhere I turned, someone was urging me to go to see Megan Willdorf. Reluctantly I made an appointment. After a long time of trying medication, exercise even surgery there was finally relief. Sometimes leaving her office, I ran into a cancer patient she was treating. He always spoke of much she was helping him. He was very grateful for her.
About two years later, my husband began to have serious and life threatening medical problems. Doctors and specialists could not figure out what the cause was much less how to treat him. They put him on steroids, which were wreaking havoc. We decided to try Megan since she had been so helpful before. Her treatment was completely successful where ?specialists? had failed. He has never had a recurrence.
In May of this year, I came down with a staph infection requiring three full rounds of antibiotics. Unfortunately, even after the infection was gone the symptoms persisted unabated for over a month. When the Doctor started talking about ?specialists?, I (finally) thought ?Megan Willdorf?. The first treatment began to bring relief. Four treatments have again brought dramatic positive results.
Megan Willdorf will become my first line of medical defense from now on. It helps that she works with a medical practice that takes insurance.

AMAZING TOUCH! AMAZING RESULTS!

Megan Willdorf is an AMAZING practioner! I am a hairstylist by trade (LenDoesMyHair) and I do everything to down-play the effects that my business has been doing to my body for the last 15 years including: massage therapy, working out with a trainer) I see a Chiropractor as well and NOW Accupuncture! I just started seeing Megan and the results have been wonderful! My lower back has actually loosened up (it tends to become a bit stiff after standing 8-10 hours a day) as well as my neck and shoulders. For any one that is suffering from Chronic pain, allergies, I would HIGHLY recommend Megan! She is warm,personable and extremeley knowledgeable! Go see this AMAZING practioner! You do not have to live with pain! THANKS Megan! I will be back and will refer you friends as well as clients of mine! Can't wait! Oh and the location is convenient! Right in the heart of Union Square!
