My mom was in town visiting and I wanted to take her out for dinner but someplace close by my apartment, so I looked up a couple restaurants in the area and chose this one on a whim. Boy am I glad I did! When we walked in I thought to myself, "great this is going to be a lot more expensive than I thought" because the restaurant is put together very nicely with its dark woods and red accents. But when I looked at the menu I was shocked to see very reasonable prices. We went on a Sunday night and, while the patio and restaurant looked very busy, were seated right away. Our server took the time to explain all the specials (of which there were 11!) and gave us two great recommendations for pasta dinners. I had the Capellini Basilico (which was awesome!) and my mom had one of the specials, the Chicken Parmesan. The portions are great, especially for the price. All toll, with those two pasta dinners and an appetizer of Bruschetta our bill was only $40! I would say, if you like Italian, you should at least go once to check it out...I will definitely be back!

Pros: Ambience, Convenience, Service, Value

Cons: Noise (it was just a little bit too loud inside the restaurant)

In Short
A killer facade consists of stone, etched columns and arched windows fronted by a sizable patio. Exposed brick dominates most walls--the far one featuring a bank of raised booths. The adjacent bar is an art-deco stretch…
