Children's Safari Learning Center

My daughter has been going to Children's Safari for nearly 9 months now and I couldn't be happier. The infant room teachers are OUTSTANDING! My daughter loves to go to "school" everyday. Such a relief as I am a first time mom. :) The owner, Kathy, is so wonderful! I am so impressed and 100% satisfied with the quality of child care I am receiving!!!

I am very pleased with Children's Safari. The staff is very friendly, they all greet my son by his name, and take the time to tell me how his day was. My son was at a different day care center before we moved to the East Valley, it was a fight everyday to get him to want to go to school. Now he runs to his class and is ready to play. He comes home singing songs, counting, and pointing out new things he learned about in class. I would highly recommend Children's Safari.

I love these guys and this place. The staff are friendly and warm. The facility is secure and someone is always at the front desk to keep an eye out. The owner, Kathy, is there everyday for most of the day which demonstrates a commitment to the overall excellence and success of the center. It is clean and you pack food for your child, allowing you to control what is being eaten. But they also have some "potluck" events where all the kid share (all green foods for St. Patrick's Day, picnic day in July). In my sons class, the teacher to child ratio is 1:5, which is checked-up on regularly as children arrive in the morning. I would (and have) highly recommend this day care to any parent looking. I feel very comfortable and confident leaving my son here, knowing that all the staff are looking out for him.

When I took the tour I was alone. I was very pleased once inside that the staff was friendly, there was a security system in place, the facility was clean, and there was no funny smells. I ask my son every day if he still likes his school and he answers yes. He also has a plan for what he is going to do the next day that he attends. Pretty much since after the first week he now runs to his classroom and leaves me catch up and try to steal a kiss good bye before he gets to involved in a game with some new friends. I am very happy and would and have recommended to friends.

I wouldn't recommend this program if your child is challenging. When we shared with the staff specific behaviors of concern, we were told the behaviors were only 2 year old behaviors. At the end of the first day, we were told by administration that they would have to see how it goes. We were asked to come and observe. At that time, there was only one teacher and not two as we were originally told. Children were required to eat and sleep at specific times. We recommended that when behaviors became intense, she was tired. The teacher would have accommodated an earlier nap time, but administration was not receptive. Generally when the school dis-enrolls a student, it is the practice to return the deposit. They were within the law when they refused. They recommended another preschool program that could provide more individual attention and seemed to feel that was more than sufficient. I did observe many children thriving in the program. They were children who willingly followed direction. Please keep these personal experiences in mind when considering this school.

When I started looking for childcare centers I went to 3 others before I found Children's Safari Learning Center. The moment I walked in the staff made me feel welcome and treated me as if I was part of the center. After touring the center I found many things that the other centers did not offer. First, this is a brand new center with new toys, equipment, and the staff treats my child like one of their own! They take pride in making sure my child has a great learning experience! Everyday when I pick up my child he tells me how much fun he has had and all the new things he is learning! Children's Safari Learning Center is definitely a place where my child's learning is developing daily. My husband and I could not be any happier then to have our child learn and grow here!!!

My boy is 2 years old and he loves to go to school everyday. He has learned more than I would have thought he could. I am impressed with the quality of care that they give my son. I feel it is a learning school more so than just a daycare. I am impressed with how clean everything is and am happy with the teachers because they communicate very well with me. I feel well informed which is important to me. I recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a learning school with great facilities. If you like happy and friendly teachers who love to teach then you are looking at the right school.

Children's Safari Learning Center is a brand new child care center in Mesa. The staff is wonderful and truly interested in the children.!!The facility is outstanding!! I went to visit the school and was so impressed with it. I have enrolled my child and have been extremely pleased with the quality of care. This is a child care center that really has the welfare of its children as a priority. My child and I couldn't be happier!!!
