I once had an argument with a friend about good pizza. To him the best pizza was thin crispy crust with only cheese, no toppings. To me, a good pizza was a nice thick flavorful crust with cheese and a medley of toppings that blend together to create their own unique flavor.

I like Paulina's pizzas. The Mediterranean, mentioned above, is my fave but the chicken cordon blue is also good. When I feel like something spicy, Garry's Special is what I order.

If you appreciate Paulina's for what it is - a mom and pop place with the owners trying to be a little different and a little better - then you will see, and taste, the difference.

I like the specialty pizzas at Paulina's and eat there regularly. I also like the baked spaghetti on Tuesday evenings.

I like the fact that they apparently make informed choices of what beer and wine to offer, rather than the same old stuff you can find anywhere in town.

My family and I recently went to Paulinas. The food was alright, nothing fantastic but not aweful. What really got my attention though was the atmosphere. This resturant did not seem to have any employees who were glad to be there, nor did what seemed like the supervisors. It was just an obvious elephant in the room that really did have an impact on our dining expirence.

**Oh P.S. I just saw the Managers feed back to another post. I think that they should take responsibility for their poor criticism left by a "valued customer". And if your employees are that upset after they've left your company to make up stories then no wonder the mood was so bad when we visited.

I live very close to Paulina??s Pizzeria and was hoping it would be a good place to pick up a pizza on my way home from work, but unfortunately the pizza is not good. If I did not see the guy spinning the pizza dough, I would have sworn that the pizza crust was pre-made like they have at Sam??s. The pizza taste like a store bought pizza.

Business Response:

Owner's Response This is another review that we question whether it is authentic. We are aware of a number of false reviews posted to the Internet by the friends of disgruntled former employees or the former employees themselves. (They have admitted to it.) We encourage you to form your own opinion of us and to put little stock into comments posted on-line-whether it's about our restaurant or another person's restaurant.

Someone recommended the pizza here, and I was expecting a minimally-furnished, to-go place (it is located in the Publix shopping center near Mahan & I-10 under the humble sign "PIZZERIA"). What I found was a beautiful, peaceful little sit-down Italian restaurant with fabulous pizza and a creative menu. Appetizers include bubbly hot artichoke dip, and an assortment of Thomasville's Sweet Grass Dairy organic cheeses, among others. Beer & wine are available and service professionally. The hand-tossed (you can watch through a pristine viewing window) crust was amazing, and I can't wait to go back and try more. Special note for vegetarians: "Mediterranean Style Pizza" with basil pesto, fresh rosemary & parsley, spinach, red onions, calamata olives, artichoke hearts, parmesan, mozzarella & feta cheese -- need I say more? Call for hours...right now it's primarily a dinner restaurant, but they're doing Friday & weekend lunch, too. I'm so thrilled to have another great neighborhood restaurant near me, I want to see them make it!!!
