My wife and I took dance lessons from Dinna just a few weeks before our wedding. Let me preface this by saying, I can NOT dance. Nothing I do with my body even resembles dancing. Needless to say Dinna had her work cut out for her.
After a few 2 hour sessions and a lot of amazing choreography Dinna had us dancing like Champs! She was fun, upbeat, and positive (even when I had one of my horrible dancing moments).
I would recommend taking a few lessons to any couple that needs some "first dance help" or any couple just looking for a fun workout!

I had the chance to take the Hip Hop class at DanceFit on Sept. 28, 2009. This was my first ever aerobic class and I LOVED it! I am typically a run/lift kind of person and this was such a neat break from the usual routine. Gina and her instructors are all fantastic -- and so nice to newcomers! I would highly recommend a class at DanceFit!

Before taking Gina's Low-Impact Aerobics class, I had never taken a group exercise class before. Actually, I had never taken ANY kind of exercise class before! Not only was I a beginner, but I was pretty out of shape (...OK, really out of shape).

I was very nervous when I arrived to my first class, but after a few short minutes, I felt right at home! Gina's energy, passion, and knowledge kept my adrenaline pumping and my spirits high. I never once felt uncomfortable and class was over before I knew it.

I have been taking classes at DanceFIT for over a year now. I have regularly taken the Pilates and Power Yoga class in the year that I have been there. I have also dropped in on the Stretch and Tone as well as Ballet and Pilates Fusion classes. Every class is different and all are worth your time.

My boyfriends daughter takes ballet class at DanceFIT and she LOVES going. She looks forward to class each weekend and spends the rest of the day at home trying to teach us what she has learned.

Gina is amazing. She really cares about all of her students and makes sure that we get the best work out possible. She is always changing up the routine so you never get bored. She starts every class by asking if there are specific areas that we want to work on. So it is like having a personal trainer in a class setting. You leave class feeling a million times better than when you walked in. Its a great stress reliever. Gina also invites her students to give music recommendations for class which I think is pretty cool.

Let me start by saying I do NOT like to work out. I was really nervous about signing up for any type of fitness class because I find many of them intimidating. I signed up for Gina's class after a friend recommended DanceFit. DanceFIT has some of the best options as far as classes and techniques. This is definitely due to the amazing skill and training of the owner/instructor, Gina. Gina is the best instructor I have ever had and is extremely focused on making sure that her entire class is getting what they want and need out of it. She continually makes sure that the participants have the correct form and is able to adapt the class on a moment's notice if anything needs to be modified or changed for a class participant. You can tell that she has participated in excellent study and training over the years.

I am so happy to finally find a studio and instructor that is able to really train their participants at the highest possible level. My core, tone, strength, and flexibility have improved more than I could imagine and I have started to compliments on my abs...which is a new occurrence.

DanceFIT is most definitely a wonderful studio and with a superb instructor!

It??s funny how life throws you an unexpected curve.

Before I took any type of exercise class, I figured it??s just your typical, exercise classes. You go in, as if it??s a job, punch in, put your time in to work out; and just try to survive; Most of the instructors I took had the demeanor of a drill sergeant ala Arnold Schwarzenegger so if you asked for help you either feel embarrassed because it either show you were not keeping up with the pace or just plain weak like a ??girly man?.

So my first Lower body stretching class, I??m expecting the worst; but remember how I said life is funny. Yep I was hit with the greatest of all curveballs ala Josh Beckett. Gina is just not your typical instructor. She is everything what people have wrote, smart, passionate, observant, dedicated, clever, cheerful, if I go any further, I won??t be able to finish my review.

What stood out in my mind on the first day was just her presence. She had such a bright smile, well let??s just say if the sun ever needed a day off, it would know who to turn to. So naturally that infection energy radiated so greatly to the class that you just can??t help but feed off from it as you work out. That was the first thing.

As I came back to class the next few times, the second thing I noticed was her intelligence. She can readily provide suggestions to students, in what he/she can do to do better. It could be an explanation (ok to me)on how breathing out from a sit-up position will give you an extra ump as you come up, or what??s a better way to twist to feel a stretch in your right thigh, or lower back, etc. etc.

It??s amazing that it doesn??t matter if you??re just starting out for the first time, or if you??re a returning student, she??ll treat you the same as if you were the next door neighbor shooting the breeze. She has a great recall memory so she??ll know from prior classes if you??re abs stretch is improving or if you need a little work strengthening your shoulders. Knowing that she has your back is reassuring.

And as the class was nearing the end, the third thing was her flexibility. It??s funny, most instructors have planned routines that he/she don??t deviate from. So it??s surprising that she??ll open up to the class of what exercises we like to work on. If people don??t really want to do too much cardio, she can adjust on the fly and focus more on stretches, or if someone in the class wanted to work on Abs. The students appreciate this and the great sense of humor she has about it. Heck she??ll even let us pick the music or accept music from students to play with her routines

So after that first class (I believe over a year ago) I know my life has changed for the better both physically and mentally. So it??s no surprise that I??ve continued to take more than one, sometime 2 or 3 a week. I know I still have some areas to improve, and now and then I may make a grunt or two in class, but it??s encouraging to know that she??s got our back (literally and figuratively), and I??m.. well we??re all lucky to know her, to have her as our instructor and most importantly to have her as a friend. ?

Top notch all the way around. I had programs there with many members of DF's staff and they are great! Very warm and they push you to reach your goals. I recommend this to everyone...and I have yet to meet anyone who has only taken one class. You simply get hooked!

I have taken classes with Gina for several months, and I can honestly say that she is one of the best fitness instructors I've ever had. Not intimidating in the least, Gina guides her students to proper technique with patience, and has the flexibility to adapt her classes to meet individual students' needs. The music is upbeat, the exercises and dance moves are fun, and the atmosphere is lighthearted. I highly recommend DanceFIT for anyone who is looking for a stress-free, enjoyable way to get in shape.

I have been taking Gina's classes for multiple semesters now in everything from Pilates to CardioFit to CardioDance, and I have enjoyed every one of them. Her class is the only one I've ever taken where I completely forget about the time; usually in exercize classes I constantly wonder "is this over yet?", but Gina's classes are so enjoyable and you have such a great time while working hard that time seems to fly by. You definitely see results as the weeks go by, I've noticed a huge increase in flexibility and tone, which is a main focus of all her classes.

Gina is a passionate and talented instructor, and will not only give you a great workout, but will inspire you to want to try your hardest. She seems to know just how far you can safely push yourself even when you don't quite know yourself, which is a rare and wonderful quality in an instructor and is the main reason I keep coming back. Her classes are fun and she always asks students for input, whether it be on the music choices or the types of areas we want to focus on during each class, so it's very much tailored to exactly what you want to achieve. She's a very accessible instructor, always willing to give you some pointers or let you make up a missed class (and the price is very reasonable).

If you're looking for a fun, self-challenging (but not too hard), and effective workout/dance class, I highly recommend you come to DanceFIT, you won't be disappointed!

Having been a fitness enthusiast all my life, taking Gina's classes has been a breathe of fresh air. I have spent endless amounts of money maintaining gym memberships, joining studios, and buying workout tapes, but nothing can compare to Gina's fitness tactics. She emphasizes the core and building up its endurance by using innovative movements that are good for one's unique body type. Through her clever and continually changing abdominal, leg, and arm exercises my body is quickly tightening up. Gina's passion for her job makes attending her classes a real pleasure. Plus, she is easy to contact and always solicits feedback, which I appreciate.

Additionally, I have seen Gina in action when she teaches her tiny ballerina classes and parents can only be so lucky to have her instructing their children. Gina logically plans out her classes to maintain the attention of three-five year old children and everyone knows this is a difficult task. Through the use of props, lively music, and stimulating activities, she receives nothing but smiles and thanks in return.

With all the studios available, I wouldn't want to be apart of anything that didn't have DanceFit's name on it. DanceFit is the type of fitness I have been hoping/waiting for, and now that it's in my reach there's no reason to turn elsewhere.
