Fraiche

small indoor/outdoor restaurant in downtown culver city. nice decor, strong drinks. went there for lunch. i had the lasagna, and it was good. I recommend the steak and the lamb rigatoni if they still have it. Friends ordered chicken, but wasn't very good. Good for a nice occasion.

Fraiche is an outdoor/indoor restaurant in Los Angeles that intends to compete with the better Los Angeles restaurants. If you want an elegant meal or a great date night location, Fraiche could be it.

This restaurant serves rustic French and Italian food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is excellent and the service is professional. It is difficult to make a reservation right now since word has spread about the place!

There was a time when I would have scoffed at a place a "hip" as Fraiche making its home in Culver City- but that seems to be the new trend. Great ambience at night- candlelight, outdoor sofa-seating with heaters and the fondue is deeee-lish! The few times I've been there I've had great service. Looks like a classy joint, but I can still show up in my flip flops and not feel out of place. Reminds me of the cafes in Greece...
