Nonye Braids & Beauty Services

This is the first review I've ever written about anything, because I'm very stingy with my compliments. But I love, love, LOVE Nonye. Not only is she very sweet, her whole shop's braiding skills are on point! I hate paying money for braids that look like I did them myself. And most braid shops here in San Antonio look like you did them yourself. They're just "okay". But Nonye will have your hair ON. POINT. which is why I don't mind burning the gas and driving the hour and a half to come get a fierce head of braids every month.

Nonye Hair Braiding is indeed the best hair braiding service in the Austin area. Having moved to Austin from New York, I was frustrated that no salon could do neat braids like the salons in New York. Then I found Nonye Hair Braiding!!!
Talk of professionalism, courtesy, creativity, neat and classy braids,amazing customer service Nonye Hair Braiding's got it all. I always get compliments @ UT for my hair. Most of my coursemates are now customers too, thanks to their quality service. Way to go Nonye Hair Braiding Salon!

I love this shop! It's not just the great work they do, it's the professionalism. They value and respect my time. And I get great customer service. I get a lot of compliments on my hair and I always refer people to Nonye Braids.

Nonye's braids and services are top-notch. She is light handed, is professional, knows how to talk to people. I used to travel to Houston or Dallas to get my hair braided. I won't do that anymore. Nonye, thanks for the twists job, I get compliments everywhere I go. Thanks!

Hi Nonye! I have received many compliments on my hair. I've given two women your number. They want to use my hair color and everything! Last night I rolled it on those twistie rollers...came out pretty and all I used was a little water, no mouse or setting lotion...I need to send you a picture....you look so different with long hair (looking at the pic on your website). I had a nice experience talking with you -- learned a lot about your country and I'm sharing it with my students! Thanks for keeping all my braids nice and even, despite being super tired!

Hi Valerie,I'm looking for a braider and loc stylist in Austin, I'm new in the area. I was thinking about going to Nonye until I read your review.Thank-you for posting it.
