Big Adventures

I wasn't completely impressed on my first visit there to be honest, but I think that is when they had first opened. Every business has its kinks when first opening. Having given them the consideration of being a new business, I've only returned a few times since, but could see much improvement. I haven't been to a birthday party or anything, but liked that I could read a paper or book while my nieces played. I do object to some of the posts suggesting that their staff be responsible for the children. I'm not a parent, but I have my nieces check in with me every 15 minutes or so and I make sure that I am aware of there whereabouts. Its just a plain fact that some kids are rude, bratty, mean etc., but I don't think the staff or owners can control that. Weekends are crazy there, so I prefer a weekday afternoon. Overall, the kids seem to enjoy it, the food is decent and reasonably priced. I hope they keep getting better as they go.

went here with my 6 year old niece and had a GREAT time!! contrary to reviews written before me.. the staff was super friendly! people complain about the staff not watching the kids but.. if you'll excuse me.. as a parent it is YOUR responsibility to watch your kids.. this is a place for food and fun, it is not a babysitting service.. would you go into various stores at the mall and let your children run around and not watch them? i think not! the staff was great and the food was awesome! and it was cooked and brought out to us pretty quick, no long waiting! my niece had a blast and i would DEFINITELY go back there again!!

My kids have had such a fun time there each time they have gone. It is safe, reasonably priced, and it is a great way for the kids to get some exercise without having to brave the elements.

This is a great fun thing for kids to do! It costs $7.00 for kids and adults are free. We have been several times, sometimes its jammed, sometimes its not so bad. On a crowded day it gets crazy for the smaller kids, some of the bigger kids tend to take over and throw balls pretty hard at each other even though it is clearly marked not to throw balls. I wish there was more staff keeping an eye on this. The only other negative thing is the bathrooms can get pretty dirty with so many kids- and the kids have to go into the bathroom with their socks on because their shoes are checked at the door. Again I think more staffing could help with this problem. Otherwise, a great winter thing for the kids to do.

My Children have enjoyed going here. It is a great place to let them run around and burn off all the energy. The only thing that worries me is the stairs going in and out of the place. They are so steep and I worry about one of the kids taking a tumble. Other than that it is a clean place to let them play.

My kids love going here for birthday parties. It is reasonably clean, much cleaner than other similar establishments. The food is decent and it's small enough that security isn't an issue (at least with older kids). It's nice if your in Westfield because it's so close.

went a few weeks ago and it was clean, quiet because we came during the week, the kids loved it, they wanted to go back, they don't have a pass to offer to cut the cost down which I think would be nice. As well we had to leave temporarily because of an unforeseen event but they would not let me reenter without cutting off our wristbands hence having to pay to come back in, that didn't sit well with me. The facility is a nice place for the kids to burn off some steam esp. in colder weather.

the kids love to go and just play for hours! AS a parent I could relax and know that they could blow off some steam and be safe. The only down fall is we had to purchase socks at the door since we didi not know that socks were mandatory. Kinda felt taken advantage of since the socks were overpriced.

We have been rescued by Big Adventure a few times. It is big, open and well contained. They have a good security system set up to keep kids safe. I was disappointed in the arcades but the kids really enjoyed the food. I think the reservation rooms are too pricey but you don't have to use them if you don't want to.

My four year old son loves the playscape. Some games are a little pricey (like ski-ball). Nice clean place for children to play. Great place for a b-day party. All in all, it's a great place to bring your child when the weather won't permit them to play outside.

The playscape here is impressive. The kids can run around for hours and still be entertained. The video game/arcade area is less than impressive. Many games are often out of order.

Food counter has a good selection, but food is average at best.

Still a good place to being the kids on a rainy day.

My kids had a birthday party at Big Adventure last week...they had a blast!! They had the equipment from Adventure Land, pizza soda birthday cake and games where you win prizes...lots of fun for the kids.

For being brand new, they are not doing so well. We are very fortunate to have this addition to our community. Security is definately an issue. They do have wrist bands, however children are able to wander freely by the exit. They don't really offer much by the way of packages for birthday parties. They have a fee for the room, which they do nothing, you do it all. And then you pay individually for the children. No deal to that. This could be a great place, they just need to pay more attention to the details. Also, their is a sign that all children must wear socks at all times, however the owners child was walking around barefoot when we were there. Lack of professionalism.

Big Adventures was alot of fun for the kids. I had my daughter birthday party there one a weekday off from school. Not to crowded but the staff was not very helpful. You are on your own to watch the kids, gather the kids to eat, then gather them again to do cake. They never came to clean the pizza or soda stuff up, I had to carry it back so we could have room. The floors were dirty upon entering the room and everywhere else. They definetly need to pay closer attention to cleanliness, especially where there are so many kids coming and going. They could have a mint if they clean, hire more staff and pay attention to detail. Get it fixed before you lose it.

It gets a little crowded, but it's still lots of fun! (says a nine year old).
From a parent's perspective, it seems like staff supervision isn't the best. BUT, like the other reviewers have said, this is a great addition to our community.

What a great addition to our community!! The kids just love it. We went on a Friday night and it was not over crowed. The kids ran into a lot of their friends. The pizza was ok but the play scape is the big draw. The price for an evenings entertainment is reasonable, less than the cinema. We have also been to a birthday party which was wonderful. The staff was very nice and we will definitely go back.

We recently took the kids to Big Adventure. They had a blast! Granted, the kids are older and don't need as much supervision. I would definitely worry about younger kids as the place is packed and there seems to be only a few people working. In all though, I thought the people were very nice and it's great to have something for the kids to do without having to travel too far.

The kids really love it, they want to go again and again. We've been 4 times already. The first 3 times, it was very quiet so we had no problems with feeling secure or getting service. Plus, it was new and still clean. Last weekend we went when they were having birthday parties - it was very crowded, and messy. I hope the owners will be able to hire enough help to keep the place clean and sanitary. My kids think it is wonderful!

I have brought my daughter to a birthday party there. The party was supposed to be at 2. We were waiting on the stairs from 1:55 to 2:20. Yes, my daughter, 3 year old son, and myself waited just to tell them we were there for a birthday party and for them to take our shoes. The line was huge. There was no one around the exit to be sure the toddlers didn't escape. The only kid taking the shoes was absolutely not concerned with speed. However, the kids truly enjoy such a place. PLEASE FIX THE QUIRKS MANAGER SO YOU DON'T LOOSE OUT ON A GREAT IDEA.

It's wonderful to have a place like this right in our very own town. I remember traveling to Springfield a few years back so I'm pleased that it is in my backyard now. I think hey have a few kinks to work out in getting organized but if you asked a child they would just say they love it. The pizza isn't' that tasty and I find that end of it very expensive.

I recently held my daughter's birthday party here. Unfortunately, the room was not ready when we got there. The staff seemed too busy to take care of the details. The security leaves much to be desired, you must make sure you keep an eye on your child at all times (especially if they're small and tend to wander). The kids loved it so for that reason I would take her back but would not have a party there again.

This is a fun place for the kids but the "security" leaves a lot to be desired. If you bring your child here, make sure you watch them since the staff does not and a child could wander out if they want to. The bathroom isn't very clean (actually they were out of soap, toilet paper and paper towels the last time I went).

They are a new business so they are just starting out but after attending a b-day party I decided NOT to have my daughter's there. I think the parties are on the expensive side but a regular visit with a friend is very reasonable.

I can't believe how much fun my children have at big Adventures. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very nice. They have a full menu and what we have tried has been wonderful. It is a place you must visit if you have children..
