i went there to get my lip pierced n i guess he was rushin or didnt pay close attention 2 wat he was doin.
i got snake bites n one is close 2 my teeth n the other is farther i mean $60 bucks
i wasnt just payin for the piercings but i was hopein for quality

We guarantee our work replied on 12/02/09 I have corresponded with this customer over email when he contacted me about his concerns. I assured him if he came in we would check out the piercings and happily correct any problem if necessary. He never came in when he said he would. If there is a problem we can't fix it if we don't know about it. We do guarantee our work.Waylon Hart did my tattoo and it is beyond amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else. As a matter of fact, I live in Austin and drive to Sugarland just to get tatted by him. He also does my boyfriends tattoos, and he has had so many compliments, it seems like everywhere we go, people want to know who was the artist. I went in and got both my nipples pierced by Kaleb a couple months ago and I'm still very pleased with them!
He was nice and didnt rush or make me feel in any way uncomfortable. The piercings are perfect and I certainly felt like he knew what he was doing.
Kevin is in the process of doing my boyfriend's tattoo right now and I can't wait to think of my tattoo for him to do in the future! Everyone at the shop is great, hands down.

this has to be one of the best shops in texas! not just your average come in a get a tattoo, but come in and learn a good thing about tattoo history and some of the best artist! Thank U guys a whole bunch! Love the work! My wife said she is going to get a tattoo now ! Waylon Hart thank u sir for the awesome work !

I've Been around Tatooers my whole life. And By far this is one of the cleanest, nicest shops I've been in. Waylon is working on my chest and it more than a could ever ask for. He took a vision that I had in my head and put it on my body. The two artiest that are there are funny and have a extensive knowledge of tattoo history. Like Don Ed Hardy, Sailor Jerry, Mike Malone, Tim Lehi, Bert Grimm and many other get tattooers. Because of these guys in this shop, I can call myself a tattoo enthusiast .

I got a pretty large tat on my back here recently. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I get compliments on it all the time and overall I'm really happy about it. The prices are pretty standard. After reading some of the other reviews, I read that some people say their artists are rude. I never got attitude like that at all. I will definitely go back and I recommend this shop to anyone.

I probably never go here ever again,
it really was the worst experience ever a lot my friends went after i got my tattoo and complained about this shop to. would look around at other places instead of going here way overpriced crappy work that I'm still getting worked on by another artist.

This is the owner of Anchors Aweigh and I want to apologize to the customer who had a bad experience at our shop. If this is the customer I think it is, that artist was fired because he was trying to charge for touch ups and we ourselves were not happy with him, which is why Kevin touched it up for free even though he didn't do it. We do guarantee our work, all of our touch ups are free and minus that one artist we do have quality talent dedicated to their work and will stand behind everything that leaves our shop 100 percent and work with people to make sure that they are happy. I do appreciate all reviews so that I can make our studio better.

In a word... Inexperienced...
My Tattoo is never going to come off, and I'm very sickened by the experience. As my first tattoo I will easily say that I would never recommend this shop to ANYONE for any type of tattoo for any reason, no matter how drunk you "may" be.
My artist was rude, didn't seem to care about anything he was doing, and when the tattoo was done, it looked horrible.
I was "way" over-charged says my tattoo artist at another shop, my tattoo was poorly done with uneven lines and shading, the artist never gave me a sanitation sheet, never said thanks come again, nothing, he did it then got on the phone and walked out of the shop...
A month later, once the tattoo was entirely healed, it needed retouching, I got in contact with my artist, he then informed me it would cost me another "40$" to have the tattoo retouched...
I got in touch with Kevin who then retouched me free of charge.
The tattoo still looks like garbage, and now having an entire leg done in a custom piece by an artist at another shop, this one needs help.
I wouldn't recommend the shop to anyone, run by people looking to make a quick buck, not sell you a great piece of artwork.

Frogg was friendly and explained everything as he was doing it. He provided a comfortable environment for doing my piercing. They are very professional and have a student discount if you bring your student ID. I have sent someone over there on a weekly basis and also make a visit over there as often as I can.
