Why go to Bellevue for expensive grooming anymore?
by Deb D.
I have an 11-year old cocker spaniel who wants to go into Pup Scrub every time we walk by, let alone loves being groomed there. And, she's in and out in just a couple of hours, not spending a day of inside a crate with no food or water like the expensive groomers I used to go to in Bellevue. When I brought in my 7 month old spaniel, she was scared so the groomer let me be with her, give her treats, and we just did her face and feet, to get her used to what grooming is all about for a spaniel. I couldn't be happier because my dogs are relaxed and groomed well with a gentle hand by a great groomer.

One of Diesel's favorites
by Kathy F.
We love Pup Scrub. The first time we took Diesel he was I think 12 weeks old. He was a little scared, especially of the blow dryer. Everyone at Pup Scrub was very good to him, very patient and helped calm his fears. Each time he goes he does better. He even seems to like it. I like that the don't put him in a blow dry crate. They hand do everything. He is a big harry over 100 pound dog now it takes a lot of work to bath him properly. You can choose to wash your dog yourself and they will assist or you can pay more and have them do everything for you. The atmosphere is great and the price is right.

Horrible Grooming!
by jmoodyspence
Heard a good review from one of my neighbors and decided to try the place out but regret every single penny that I had to pay. I can't believe the horrible grooming job they did and make me pay their high-end salon prices. The cut was uneven and seems like they scratched her with the clippers or something. The ear was cut when i specifically told them not to touch the hair on the ear. The groomer has a nasty attitude also. Will never go back!!!
Pros: Close to home
Cons: Everything else

Best groomer was recomended by three differnt people...
by bralan
I have taken my two dogs since they opened and I self wash one while I have the groomer do the other one. She lets me stay while she grooms her I enjoy being with my dog because she has had a bad experience . The groomer is always up front and very knowledgeable with my pets and no other groomer has given me the advice she has , not only that my dog has fewer skin allergies and only has to stay a minimum time being groomed and is hand dried not in a kennel all day. I would never go anywhere else. thanks Pup scrub!
Pros: great clean shop friendly service
Cons: books up fast have to call ahead

Warm and Friendly Shop
by LCLAN
I first used this shop when I brought my older German Shep rescue in for a thorough clean up. I was surprised that the shop owner stayed way past closing time on a very snowy eve to make sure he was clean and well dried. The process they went through to make sure he was trimmed, brushed and unmatted was thorough and precise. I have taken him in several times since then. Both my shep and I have been treated with the same warm wonderful smile and service. I would highly recommend anyone to use their self service or drop off service. These people love the animals that come in and it shows.
Pros: Great customer service, friendly atmosphere, great value
Cons: none

Best Groomer in town
by tazo1
Since I've been taking my dog Bella to Pup Scrub in Kirkland I have never been more satisfied. Esther, the owner (my dog & I love her) and her staff are so great with all the dogs. You can tell they really care & love their job. My dog gets so stressed when she has a bath, but since she's been going to the Pup Scrub she is the calmest I've ever seen her. I took Bella to Petsmart for a long time and she hated it. I felt so guilty for leaving her there, but I didn't know where else to go. They would keep her there all day and some of the groomers were so mean to the dogs.
At Pup Scrub my dog is in and out with in 1-1/2 hrs tops. We are so happy we found The Pup Scrub I won't go anywhere else. They are by far the best!
Thank you Esther and your staff for everything you do for Bella and all the dogs. This is the best place in town.
Pros: Very clean, Bright, Convenient, Friendly, Very helpful, Reasonable, Parking, Service, Fast

"BEST GROOMING EVER!" (says Gigi - the toy poodle)
by gigi522
My name is Gigi; I'm almost 8 years old and love being a toy poodle princess. My Mom takes me to Pup Scrub every 6 weeks and I just love it there! I don't get scared or anything! It is so clean and nice and Auntie Jamie has been grooming me since I was a puppy; I love her! She is so gentle and I get a wonderful massage while I'm bathing! I look so beautiful when I leave and everyone there is so sweet to me. I give my personal "woof" to doggies of all shapes and sizes: "Go to Pup Scrub - you'll feel sooooooo good - Woof!"

The worst grooming!
by pierrenardo
Don't tell your customers on how bad they are doing taking care of their dogs. That is why we pay your over priced grooming fees to get them groomed! The groomer and owner are both horribly rude! The hair cut was all uneven and my dog still smelled!

Beware of Groomer
by alan3
Cute place very convenient for a quick "pup-scrub" Owner is very friendly and helpful...But beware of the groomer. We had an awful experience with her and would not recommend taking any dog to her. She was lazy, rude and complained alot about how hard everything was...She gave our pup the worst possible haircut she looks ridiculous.

Don't get grooming done here
by clickclack
I recently booked an appointment for my 4 mth old puppy to get his first grooming. When I walked in, the groomer immediately started saying things like "Oh, a Schnoodle. he has wiry Schnauzer hair and fluffy poodle hair...ugh" and "He has really sharp claws" (I had just trimmed his claws one week prior). When I picked him up she told me that he had mats in his face so she really had to take a lot out of his face. That was a bold faced lie. I had combed every inch of his body and there were no mats. She gouged out hunks of his facial fur - he looked like a dork. Then she said "He was nipping at my razor" and "He didn't like the scissors"...she went on and on and on. Again, he is a puppy and this was his first grooming. Any normal groomer would understand that. This gal just liked to complain and complain and complain. Well here's a real complaint...she did a TERRIBLE JOB. I thought to myself that if I went to a hair salon and the Stylist complained that she didn't like the texture of my hair that I would leave the salon immediately. That's what I should have done at Pup Scrub. The groomer was not professional and did a lousy job.
Pros: Close by
Cons: Everything - horrible attitude and horrible job

Fantastic, friendly, and sooo helpful...
by ShebaAndRileysMom
I used the pup scrub for the first time today and I was very impressed. My dog Sheba needed a bath, and the staff guided us through the process and were very welcoming. Most impressive of all, once I was done washing my pooch one of the staff members came to our aid and managed to get out these mats, (more like dredlocks) that have challenged us in her poofy tail and rump. She showed me how to do it myself, and now I don't have to shave Miss Sheba's beautiful tail plume! I am so grateful for the help, and I can tell you these people are gentle, loving, and knowledgeable. Thank you Pup Scrub!
Pros: Helpful Staff, Clean and Cute Facility, Great Choices of Shampoos etc., Excellent Value
Cons: None that I can think of...

Grooming overpriced and low quality
by gromariskin
I wasn't very impressed with the quality of grooming. I tried out many place before and for their price tag, the grooming service and quality wasn't that great. I heard that Scruff to Fluff has better grooming.

Wonderful place for full-service and self-service pet baths!
by qsmom
I have been taking my dog to Pup Scrub for baths for over 2 years. I could not be happier with the full-service and self-service baths that are offered for customer's dogs. The owner, Esther, is always accomodating to any special needs or requests for one's pet. Esther's desire to provide an environment that feels safe and secure to both the pet owner and pet is always apparent. I have witnessed this over and over at Pet Scrub...pets being treated with the Kindness and Respect they deserve.
It is also very important to me that the Bath/Grooming facility I take my dog to is extremely clean. It is clear that this is a a top priority at Pup Scrub. I always see them maintaining this type of environment, regardless of the time of day and how many dogs have come through there during the day.
I have tried many other local grooming places for my pet, and Pup Scrub is the only place I return to, and will continue to use for my dog in the future.

Never Go Again!
by acannon82
I used to take my dog to Pupscrub for self wash and one day saw the groomer strangling a dog to get him to stay still. The poor little thing was so scared and shaking! It's a good place for self wash but BEWARE of their grooming!

Excellent people and shop
by mtgirl92
This place is awesome! I've been there twice to use the self-service dog wash. The staff are kind, excited to see my dog, and so helpful. The facility is nice and clean. The staff come and help with anything you need--getting the dryer set up, trimming nails, and checking to make sure you have enough towels. I think the price is great too. My dog gets all clean (and I buy her a cookie) for about $18. After trying several other places, this is my spot!

Awesome dog washers
by craign1010
An awesome safe, clean, competent business.
My big 105lb golden feels safe here.
Grooming is great, bring your own shampoo and no problemo
They call with a heads-up estimate time to finish so poochie doesnt sit like human kids do in the airport.
Saves my back&knees from the in-home tub wash PLUS paws get trimmed and he is happy.
Chuckles and I are committed that this is our wash/groomer. (I've always done it myself before).
Esther is definitely dog-whisperer talent and hires staff that carefully wash dogs.
