Incredible 5 Star Rating - World class

This IS the place for wine lovers. The selection is like I've never seen, the space is beautiful, and the staff is very helpful. I came for a wine tasting and ended up doing all of my holiday shopping here---something for everyone. Check this place out.

ghiradelli square: a new destination for locals? 5 Star Rating - World class

Love it. Ghiradelli Square is definitely trying to move away from merely being a tourist destination, and evolving into a place locals would enjoy, a la the Ferry Building with the addition of the Dean & DeLuca offering and now this. They did a great job renovating the old Woolen Mills building, and, the night we were there, they had a fine offering of wines at the tasting bar, a very knowledgeable staff, and an irresistible selection of yummy hors d oeuvres marching out of the charcuterie. A very comfortable place to spend an evening. Check it out.

Pros: Great ambiance

Celebration of wine in Ghir 5 Star Rating - World class

Cellar360 has managed to fill-up this HUGE space in Ghirardelli Square with a nice selection of wines for sale, a large private tasting room, a great wine bar, and a small Charcuterie. My wife and I checked it out for the first time last week, and, in addition to being thoroughly impressed by the elegant design, and comfortable feel of the space itself (original brick, exposed wood beams, etc.), we were very pleased to discover that they offer wine education classes hosted by COPIA representativesreal quality classes in wine are all too rare and my hope is that Cellar360 will be looking to fill that need. In addition, the wine bar appears to be staffed by very knowledgeable (and refreshingly unpretentious) individuals. Its also a great shopping option for the holidays if you, like me, can knock out several people on your list with wine-related gifts! Overall a superb addition to Ghirardelli Square.
