I'm sorry they are no longer at the Dobie, but glad to know WeFuse is still out there. I'll just have to figure how to park downtown!
Excellent food, excellent value, well presented! and I love the chocolate-dipped fruit lagniappe. I hope that still happens at the new location.
All I've heard about was how good WeFuse is at their new downtown location. So, I had walked past a few times to see a long line inside the new tiny spot. Today was the day, at 1:10pm I figured the lunch crowd was gone, I went in and ordered the Salmon tray (deal) with soup and tea. 26 mins. later the only words uttered to me were, "did you have the vege tray?" Finally, 29 mins. into my wait, they gave me my food without saying anything. I just got back to the office and of course I paid for the (deal), and of course there was no soup included in my bag. Too bad the food is somewhat decent but after this I'll make sure none of my friends and family don't waste there valuable time to finally get the wrong order.
I've eaten at Asian fusion restaurants for many years in Tokyo. Many of them just had to be tied for best-in-class and rarely have I've experienced their level of quality until I went to We Fuse (formerly the FuseBox) in the Dolbie Mall. Both as bento and family/catering style I've had their seared tuna, salmon, vegetarian, chicken and curry chicken and many of their sides like the spice cantaloupe balls and steamed dumplings. Suffice it to say it is the BEST! And the price, the price....well it is more than fair and if anything they charge to little (meaning tip heavily)! So the food is the best, the price is more than fair, I love the people and with their hours expanded to eight PM makes it a perfect BYOB happy hour spot. To top it all off they do catering and special meal nights for groups.
