Our two dogs recently went to camp at Camp Bow Wow and it was a great experience. I appreciated the personalized feedback cards that let me know that the "Camp Counselors" were actually getting to know my dogs, rather than the typical "Riley had a great time and he played well with the other dogs" that I've received from other boarding facilities. The remarks included specific details about each of our dog's personalities, which showed me that they were truly paying attention to our "babies." I also loved they camper cams and frequently tuned in watch the dogs play with their new friends! We will definitely continue to use Camp Bow Wow in the future.
Vacation time came again, alas our poor pooch can't make the long out of state trip to see the relatives. (Lucky Dog) Having been quite dissatisfied with previous boarding facility, the search started. I believe I checked every facility in a 20+ mile radius and finally WOW! There it was. A Clean, well kept, organized, dogs looked happy, they even have a web cam where you can watch your pooch when away. Even LESS expensive than some of the other franchises, didn't reek when you walk in, place is immaculate. People are friendly, Just amazing. I will tell All my friends about this wonderful new place! Thanks! J. Adams Suwanee,GA
We scheduled our 2 week vacation prior to adopting our first dog, and turned to Camp Bow Wow to help. We loved being on vacation, but we were thankful we were able to check in with our newest family member via the webcam. When we returned he was happy, healthy and tail wagging. We also enjoyed getting a "report card" and "school photo" from the interview day. It really had a personal touch, so we knew who had been looking after our dog while we were away. Our second dog has her interview this week and we can't wait for her to play with her big brother at camp!
Pros: Clean environment, exercise, & socilization for your dog(s)
Cons: May be pricey for some families
I am a very overprotective Mom of our dog, Grover. He is a rescue and was not used to being around other dogs or people. I researched many facilities to try and find the right place for him to play. Camp Bow Wow is that place! The staff has been wonderful while he has learned how to play with other dogs in a safe and happy atmosphere. He attends ??camp? once a week and can??t wait to get inside! He comes home happy and tired. The staff is wonderful and the facility is first rate. I knew we had found the perfect doggie daycare when I realized one day that he had been at camp for several hours and I had not felt the need to check on him with the Camper Cam! Bring your dog by for a visit; you will love Camp Bow Wow Duluth, as much as Grover!
Pros: Great staff, wonderful facility
My dog Sandy has been going to Camp Bow Wow/Duluth for two years. Our new puppy Maggie goes there now as well. They are in day camp two or three days a week. They LOVE to go. All I have to do is say, "Do you want to go to Camp Bow Wow?", and they are at the door and ready to go. I have also boarded Sandy there....she had a great time. The staff is super friendly. The owner is extremely conscientious about running a great place. They all seem to truly care about dogs.
You should give Camp Bow Wow a try. You won't regret it. They are wonderful!
Pros: Large, clean, friendly staff, webcams in play areas
Cons: Wish they had webcams for the sleeping cabins
Camp Bow Wow in Duluth, GA is by far the best place to board your dog when you have to leave town. The friendly staff genuinely cares about your pet, the facility is always neat and clean, and you can tell the dogs are all well cared for. And for peace of mind, the webcams are great! When you're away from your family member it is great to be able to see what they are doing and how much fun they are having. I highly recommend camp bow wow to all of my friends with dogs. Keep up the great work!!!
Pros: Great Staff, Webcams, Clean Environment
Cons: None!
By far the biggest play area i have seen in Atlanta. I wish they had one closer to where i live.
Pros: Big play area
This place is incredibly big. You really can't find a better place to take your dog in Buford. My little girl Lacey love it here, she always comes home tired and happy.
Pros: HUGE play area
We have had our Maltese here and she loves it. The employees there care alot about the dogs. They play with them and give them love. They even make sure they get a nap when they are tired of playing. You can even check on you pet through their web cams. I would highly recommend Camp Bow Wow Duluth!!
Pros: They are friendly
Cons: there are not any cons
I love these guys. When ever we walk in, they know our dog by name. They truely love the pets in there care. It feels like we are leaving them with family. Great perk to be able to use the webcam and see our pet while we are away.
Pros: Super Friendly, Excellent Care, Great Service
We went on our vaca guilt free knowing our dog, Scooter,
was happy doing what he loves best. He loves to socialize and play with his own. Camp Bow Wow gave him the perfect amount of playtime and rest time. When we returned to pick him up he wasn't stressed or mad at us. He was happy to return home and recover from his own vaca. It put us all in the same boat. Back at home, a little tired from all the fun, but content.
Pros: playtime for Scooter
Cons: non that I could see
I looked for weeks for a certain dog food for my yellow lab. Finally I found it at Camp Bow Wow. But to my surprise I found so much more. A great place to take our Sonic if we need to go out of town and the thing I love the most....The self serve dog wash. Let's face it in this economy people just don't want to spend $50 every two weeks to have the groomer wash their dog. And with an 80 lb puppy it is to hard to do at home in the tub. Thank's to Camp Bow Wow, our puppy is clean and happy all the time!
Pros: They are always open
Cons: none
We have boarded our Golden Retriever here several times and we are so pleased with the service and the caring. The dogs play all day and have freedom to run around. They go to their cabins at night and during the day for nap time. We really miss our dog when we can't take her with us and we can just go online and see her on the camper cams. Our baby loves to go to camp and comes home worn out from all the playing. Weather it be day camp or overnight camp this is the Best place for your pet!!!!
Pros: Best Dog sitters in town
Cons: None
Camp Bow Wow has been so wonderful for us! My dog LOVES to go to camp. He comes home happy and worn out from a hard day of playing and socializing. The staff is caring and knowledgable, and their hours are great. The facility is clean and new, and the best part is that you can check in to see how your dog is doing on the online "Camper Cams." I feel very relaxed about leaving my dog there because I know he's having a blast!
Pros: Wonderful staff
My dog Kaya loves to come play! She is a border collie / retriever mix that was rescued from the Gwinnett shelter. Even with some of her idiosyncracies the folks at CBW have made her -- and me -- feel comfortable about introducing her to other dogs - and people too. Thanks to all the great folks at CBW she is becoming a much more social dog.
Camp Bow Wow has been more than accomodating to our hectic schedule with last minute appointments and fitting us in. We are so happy to have our labs stay together and enjoy time with the other pups. Its a little more than the normal "cage" kennels, but the satisfation I get from having my furry children together and happy, is less stress for me and them, too.
Pros: best staff and accomodations
Cons: a little pricey
