Erik knows a lot about the human body and as a massage therapist he is attentive to his clients. I have sometimes called upon Erik on short notice and he has always come through for me.

Erik is something special. I don't like people touching me, but he is the exception. He is professional and he works on a deeper level than any therapist I have heard of. Plus, if he can make me feel comfortable, he can help anybody. 4 stars.
Pros: Best Massage Ever, Professional, Great Office
Cons: Not One

Erik is an incredibly gifted massage therapist. He truly is the best massage therapist with whom I have worked, and over the years, I have worked with a number of them. Erik cares for his clients tremendously and works diligently to support their healing process. Erik knows how to work with the mechanics as well as the energy of the body to facilitate and accelerate the healing process. He has helped me to accomplish physical healing that I had worked for years to achieve with no success. I recommend him without reservation.
Pros: Absolutely the best massage therapist I have ever seen.
Cons: None.

OK. My girlfriend couldn't stop talking about the massage she got from this guy. I got to admit, i was getting jealous. She swore to me that it was healing and kept trying to get me to go. I figured, what the heck?
He knows a lot about the body. He knew how to fix my problems and find where things hurt that kept me from moving right. This was when I didn't even know there was a problem with those parts. He made me feel comfortable even though this was my first massage from another guy. It wasn't froo-froo and I could tell, after talking to him that he wasn't after my girlfriend. lol
I have had problems with my shoulder and rotator cuff for years, lifting my arms straight above my head has been virtually impossible and playing softball has hurt too much; until now. He freed my shoulder a lot through my armpit and I'm able to do stuff I haven't been able to without pain in a long time. He also gave me suggestions for things I can do at home to live with less pain. We will both be going back to see him.
Give Erik a try. Don't wait for your girlfriend to find him. lol
P.S. I stopped eating foods with Nutrasweet and I am drinking lots of water. Thanks Erik.
Pros: Great massage, good location, great information, funny guy

Erik not only has amazing hands, but an amazing mind and spirituality. He has taught me extraordinary meditation techniques which I use daily to perpetuate my own healing. This is necessary as I live in Canada and only manage to see Erik about every 6 - 8 months. However, I know that he is only a phone call or webcam away and I feel his healing energy across the miles. He has cleared innumerable blockages in me physically (including some troublesome postpartum scars) and emotionally. If you live in close to this true healer, then he should be at the TOP of your massage therapist roll-a-deck. He is number #1 for me.
Pros: Everything about him and his practice. Flexible treatment options. Highly personal and discreet.
Cons: I live in Canada and only get to see him every 6 - 8 months.

Erik is by far the best massage therapist hands down. I have received many massages, from around the world, most of which are the usual start here, end there types of massage. Erik works with your body to determine what type of massage you need and each massage is different to accomodate what is going on in your body at that time. He is an energy worker and a true healer.
Pros: everything
Cons: none

I love Erik! He can wind his way around a body and smooth out most of the pathways. I only wish he could come to town more often.
Pros: Feels his way around
Cons: I don't get to see him often

Erik is my husband so I am a bit biased but he is responsible for an incredible amount of my personal healing - physically, emotionally, psychically - and I have been so fortunate to have him in my life. I know you will find real healing in his hands and his words.
Pros: Erik is thoughtful and caring
Cons: :>

I have to tell you that I treat many different patient ailments. I have used and referred to many massage therapists in the past. There are massage therapists and then there are healers. Erik is a true healer. After I found that every single patient I have referred to Erik had immediate results, I have since only referred to him. I don't care what ailment I have sent to him... he has made huge improvements in the lives of my patients. I highly recommend you see him!!
Pros: True healer
Cons: none

His healing power is to pain what a 'Sin Eater' is to indiscretion. If your problem is more than a need for relaxation, he will recommend an excellent Applied Kinesiologist...
Pros: Gets right to the healing.
Cons: None

I will always use CitySearch. from now on! This guy is amazing!!!
I am an orthopedic surgeon. I received a gift certificate from my husband for a 1 1/2 hour full-body massage. It was a very stressful week, so I decided to try Erik out.
I went in with sciatica pain and little mobility in my right shoulder. Before I left, the pain running down my leg was gone and my shoulder was bout 80% better. I just went in to get a relaxing massage and this happened! I always thought massages were just for fun. Erik changed my mind.
I left relaxed, feeling lighter, uplifted and feeling healthier than I did an hour and a half before.
Thank you CitySearch.
Pros: Best Massage in the U.S.
Cons: He won't move into our guest house.

This was without a doubt the best massage I have ever had! I was treated like a Goddess!!! Erik is professional and reliable, and very nurturing to the spirit, as well as the body. Make sure to schedule at least an hour and a half, because you will have a very difficult time ending the spoiling session. I can't recommend him any higher, and I have had plenty of pro massages. "Hands down" the best you can ever find, and very reasonable with the prices, too.

Erik is hands down (and sideways and up and...well, you get the picture) the BEST massage therapist I've ever had the pleasure to experience. Having visited spas and top resorts all over the world, I can honestly say that I look forward to coming home to have Erik finish off what the other massage therapists barely started. :) I've referred well over 30 clients to him over the past 4 years and they have referred others along the way. I even hired him for a very proper pre-wedding party to give shoulder and foot rubs and I think every girl in the place called him afterwords for massage gift certificates and appointments for themselves and husbands.
Erik's intuition will find spots on you that you never knew needed releasing. He's great at working around the ouchie spots and you come away feeling like you've had a whole spa day packed into an hour massage.
Committed to holistic health and well being, Erik knows as much if not more about the human body musculature and nutrition needs as your local doc. I think at last count, he was actively practicing 7+ modalities...so if you aren't into the average buff and puff...Erik is your man.
Pros: Massage itself, very professional therapist, good with men and women, location
Cons: I can't afford to go every day

This guy is amazing. I met him when he was on tour in Portland. He worked on my wife who spent 3 weeks trying to convince me to see him. I wish I had listened sooner. He was only there for 2 days after I got my first massage and I got one more before he left.
I've had massages all over the world, but have never experienced anything quite like what Erik does.I have flown to Austin to have him work on me twice. My company recently moved us here :) Austin is Great!!!
Erik's work has helped me do things I haven't been able to do for 10 years. He freed up my shoulder which kept me from doing most of the really fun things I like and has fixed it so my wife's right foot doesn't turn in and her knee doesn't hurt any more.
He is "so in to it." He doesn't just rub on you, he listens to your body, twists you in funky positions, does acupressure, and has something special that makes his touch healing. He changed our lives.
Sometimes I just veg and listen to the music, other times we talk. It seems like no matter what condition my body is in or what mood I am in, Erik is ready. He listens and doesn't just do the same massage over and over for different people or even on the same people. He always seems to do exactly what needs to be done to help.
I'm going to take advantage of Erik's services as long as he and we are here and then I'll follow him to get worked on wherever he goes.
Thanks again, Erik!! You really are the best and we are both looking forward to you working on us again.
Pros: Most amazing body work I have ever experienced
Cons: Can't think of any

Ok...I've had a LOT of massages over the past 10 years or so and I can honestly say Eric gives the BEST massage I've EVER had! He has gifted hands and amazing intuition. He seems to always be able to sense just where my stress is hiding and where all the trigger points are. He doesn't just do the mamsy pansy fluff massage... this is deep tissue (pressure that you're comfortable with) and VERY therapeutic. I always leave feeling refreshed and kind of "melty". As a woman, I used to struggle with seeing a male massage therapist, but with Eric I always feel totally comfortable because he is so professional about his work and I trust him. I'd seen Eric once before I was in a car accident but then started seeing him much more regularly after an accident this summer. I also started seeing a Chiropractor at the same time. My Chiropractor has told me that he sees a huge difference in my body after I've seen Eric, as a matter of fact, he's requested that I schedule my appointment with him AFTER I've seen Eric just because my adjustments are so much more fruitful after getting a massage from Eric. He now refers his clients to Eric as well. If you want a GREAT Massage, call Eric. But be careful...once you've seen Eric, it will be hard for you to ever get a massage anywhere else...
Pros: Great intuitive touch, very therapeutic massage!
Cons: I'm not in his office right now!
