Good food and ambience but pricey with slow service 3 By Lydia S. \| Insider Expert \| Rank: 2,923 Himalayan Cuisine Don't get me wrong, I like Himalayan Cuisine but I don't think they deserve 5 stars. Few places do. They have a beautiful and clean restaurant. They serve very good food and the buffet is a great deal. However, the cons are: So So location. The little strip mall they are in has very little parking and is very hard to get in or out of. Service. The staff is extremely inattentive. Pricing. When you are ordering a la carte the prices are rather high for the portions they give you. We feel that better ingredients make for better food and we thank you for your comments about our good food. Keeping with our new philosophy of serving fresh and healthy cuisine we have not had a buffet of any sort since the end of February 2008 and we apologize for the inconvenience. We sincerely apologize for the inattentiveness of our staff as we take pride in having highly personalized service in our establishment. Rest assured we are always striving to improve our standards, we thank you for you comments and hope that you will join us again and we can surprise you with some tasty new entrees and better service. Himalayan Cuisine, a place to treat your cravings. 5 By Brenda L. Himalayan Cuisine I dont know how to word it, but this restaurant is outstanding, from the food to the service. How many times have weve gone to places and get disappointed, at this place there is no space for that. Treat yourself and your love ones, if you truly want an outstanding experience, you definitely want eat at Himalayan Cuisine. Ive lived in Vegas for over 15 years, and I know there is a lot of over dress places where the food does not match the location, price or food origin.
