I am approaching 50 - but feel like I'm 30. Unfortunately my hair begs to differ. The staff at Alexandar Salon have my hair on the road to youthfulness and beauty - Alex & Crystal are the BEST. The cut, the color, the shine, the style...it's amazing! And the salon is located within walking distance from my office. I LOVE IT!!!

I found this place as my stylist moved her, and I can tell you, this place is it for Buckhead and Atlanta. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in LA, Service is Great, Clean, Snacks on arrival. I feel so welcome here. The best part is my hair always look great. Crystal is my stylist, and always ensure I look like a million bucks. The Owner, is also wonderful, and gives great advice. Be sure to make your appointment in advance, as they can get busy.

I was sooo very impressed with the salon and the attention I received! First of all the complimentary Valet Parking was so nice on the rainy day that I visited. All I had to do was hand over my keys and step inside to a day of pampering like no other I had ever experienced! I was offered something to drink when I walked in the door. After changing into the smock I was immediately placed in a chair and Alissa and Alexandar began working their magic. I have never experienced such attentiveness down to the very last detail of how I wanted to look. The end result was fabulous and the massage that Alissa provided when washing my hair was simply the best! I would have paid EXTRA just for that! Will I return to Salon Alexandar? That is a no-brainer! I have NO doubts! This week has been filled with compliments on my new color and style. Usually noone even notices that I have had my hair cut or updated. And of course we ladies need for someone to at least notice... I have been pleased to say the least. I will be a loyal Alissa client for years to come!!!

I recently started going to this salon after my stylist of 15 years moved to another city. She referred me to the salon and to Crystal, a master stylist. It has been a great transition for me. Everyone at the salon is very friendly and they always greet me with a smile and a beverage. I love that kind of customer service. I also love the layout of the salon. As an interior designer, I appreciate that the owner took the time to consider the design along with the functionality of the space.

I was fortunate enough to be referred to Kari by a friend.

I love how she cuts my hair and especially my bangs. I get compliments all the time and will try to refer as many friends to her as I can.

I've always switched hair stylists but I'm glad I found Kari and my loyalty is with her! She's truly an artist and I love the suggestions she gives. I trust her to do whatever she wants with me hair! She is also super friendly and I enjoy our conversations :)

I recently moved to the Atlanta area and have been looking for a salon to settle in. I am so happy that I found Crystal at Alexandar! She was so professional! She listened to my wants and my needs and gave me the most beautiful highlights and a fabulous cut. Everyone at the salon was helpful and professional. I love that the salon uses one product line because then I know that they truly believe in the products they sell.

I visited Alexander Salon for the first time and was very pleased with the service. Alexander greeted me and made me feel very welcome. Throughout my entire visit I was given VIP treatment. I received full highlights and a haircut from Kerri Ann. Not only did she listen to what I wanted, she took the time to make sure the results were perfect. I did not feel rushed or pressured into getting a style that I didnt want like I have had happen at some other salons. The price was very reasonable for the quality of service you receive. The salon was very clean, upscale, and trendy. I definatley plan on getting my hair done at this salon in the future.

Alexandar Salon is absolutely the best salon in the city!

I have a great experience every time and leave VERY VERY happy! Alex goes above and beyond your expectations. He has tremendous knowledge and years of experience and will always listen to you and make the best suggestions. THE BEST colorist and stylist I ever had! The service is very personable and you feel like you are his only client there even on a busiest day.

Crystal is also great! I have very fine and damaged hair and after getting a cut with her it looked so much healthier and full of volume. My cut had a complete new look and I absolutely loved it.

Everything from the location, relaxing atmosphere, tasty treats, superb service and of course the masters of their craft make Alexandar Salon the absolute best in the city!

Try them out and you will not go anywhere else!

My first visit to Alexandar Salon was well over a year ago. After a while I thought I could get the same service and quality elsewhere, but I was wrong. So I recently did "the crawl back" and Alexandar greeted me with open arms. He is hands down the most talented colorist and stylist in the city! If you are tired of messing around and want to look your best, Alexandar Salon is a must! The rest of his staff is fabulous also, very welcoming and friendly!!

Alexandar Salon is by far the best salon in town. The atmosphere in the salon is extremely friendly, pleasant, and relaxing and the results achieved by Aleksandar are always impeccable. He is the best and the most talented artist that I have ever encountered with and I am a very particular customer :-) His ability to communicate with the client and achieve exactly what the client wants is amazing. Furthermore, Aleksandar's creativity is flawless. The European edge that he possesses makes a huge difference in this industry. He makes you feel at home and also makes you feel good about yourself no matter what kind of day you may have had. The salon always has nice European chocolate treats for its customers, which I absolutely love.

Alexandar Salon is the perfect place to get pampered by its workers, enjoy wine and some great tasting treats. It is obvious that everyone who works there loves their job at the salon by their amazing positive attitude, lots of smiles, and amazing results. I have always left the salon feeling incredibly happy and satisfied with my hair and I would never go anywhere else. I trust that Aleksandar will always do an astonishing job with my hair. Sure, youve gotten the occasional - something is different about you, did you get a haircut acknowledgement, but have you ever had people chasing you down to get your stylists number? As I tell all my friends, because they do ask, "Call Alexander Salon and ask for Kari Schaeffer...and tell her I sent you."

Im your typical buckhead blonde highlights in the summer, darker brunette in the winter kind of girl, but no one seemed to be able to get my hair brown without it looking red. Kari could. And my cuts have all been wonderful. My boyfriend even comes now and loves her mens cuts.

Everytime you go, they give you a free hair treatment with the color process, they offer a referral program, which is WONDERFUL, and they have fabulous drinks and treats around the salon as well.

I also want to mention that the owner, Alex, is an integral part of the salon. He comes over to Kari's station while Im there to listen to her strategy and so I feel like everyone is really putting a lot of thought behind their coloring/cutting techniques.

Try them out - youll feel right at home and leave happier than ever before!

Alexander Salon is the best salon in Atlanta. It has unparalleled service, experience, and talent. It is tucked away in the heart of Buckhead and it well worth the experience. You can enjoy a drink, relax and have a great haircut. I would recommend this to all hair types.

I was referred to Kari by a friend, and as a daughter of a hairdresser, I am very skeptical. I can honestly say that my hair has NEVER looked better and I feel like a star when I walk out of her salon. She focuses strictly on me, and never loses patience with all of my ideas. She takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect. She makes suggestions and also takes ideas well. I literally emailed her a photo of a celeb style that I liked and replicated it...and that week I had people saying I looked like that person! My hair is amazingly shiny and healthy when I leave. I always let her take control and it comes out great, because I trust her 100% and that's RARE for me. I've never visited a salon so much, its so addictive! Also key is that the actual cut is superb. It lasts forever and grows out beautifully. Her blowdry also lasts for days, and something that you simply cannot acheive on your own. Kari is truly an artist and is extremely talented. She makes me feel amazing and is always so pleasant when I'm with her. The location is gorgeous, sleek and modern. There is granite throughout, beautiful lighting and art pieces, wine, chocolates, cheese and runway shows beaming on the flat screens. They also valet your car, which I love..making a trip to the salon non-chore like and luxurious. The owner is very hands on and has a European touch to everything he does. Also the products that they use are INCREDIBLE and are not even on the general market. LOVE LOVE this hair studio. Ask for KARI SHAEFFER,

I truly feel I have found the best salon in the Atlanta area! They mixed a color for me that is unlike anyone else's. I am constantly stopped no matter where I am, and asked where I got my cut or color done. Kari S. was super friendly and catered my cut to my face shape and the color to my eyes and skin tone. It's perfect! This is truly a five star salon where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail while you are recieving top of the line styling services. The design and atomosphere of the salon is also modern and and has a high end fashion sort of feel. I can't wait to go back for my next appointment!

Alexandar Salon leaves nothing to be desired. They are a top notch business. I met the owner Alexandar out one night and he suggested that I give them a shot. I am so glad that I did. I have been going to a very high end Buckhead Salon for years. I was mostly pleased but also felt like I was lacking something. It began to feel like the salon cared more about how much money that they produced than the welfare of the client. They kept going up on their prices but the customer service decreased. You were rushed in and rushed out. Nothing against the stylists at the salon. I feel that they do the best that they can under the circumstances. For the price that I was paying to get my hair done, I started to feel cheated. I think that the stylists have alot of pressure placed on them to produce. Therefore, you have to get clients in and get them out.
I am so glad that I took Alexandar up on his offer to visit his salon..............
I love the the whole experience of my visits to Alexandar Salon. I am made to feel like I am their only client when I am in the chair. I don't mind paying for good service. My hair is very thick and can prove to be time consuming.
My stylist is Kerri Ann. Alexandar actually consulted with Kerri Ann to make sure that I got the best possible results for my hair. Apparently, my thoughts regarding the lack of good customer service were true. Since, we had to spend a few hours doing color correction to my hair. Keep in mind, I paid good money at a "good salon" to get this improperly done color.
I can't say enough good things about this salon, Kerri Ann or Alexander.
If you want to be blown away, give them a shot.

I was going to a very trendy very hip very exclusive salon when i happened on this place. Not only does Kari give the best haircuts, but Alexandar cooks native Croatian food which he usually shares. Starting from my pre-haircut consultation to the blowdry, it was a completely satisfying experience. The staff is fun and personable and with the exception of the salon owner there are no diva's here. I highly recommend!!!

I went to so many hair salons to get a perm but all of them refused as my hair are very long. Then I found this Hair Salon on citysearch. As soon as I entered the salon , I was so much impressed by the ambiance and their hospitality . The stylists are really very talented and especially Kari who did my perm.She has a lot of patience, I must say ....
I am really lucky to found them and surely try it again.

Aleksander and his staff are the best colorists east of the Mississippi. It is better than the cut & color I've gotten at salons in New York, Chicago and London at twice the price.

Be prepared to love your hair -- and to hear that others love it to. Whether you want to be fashion forward or have the best hair you can in a traditional style, this salon can do it.

I was referred to Alexandar by a friend after moving to Atlanta from Dallas. Upon moving to Atlanta I went to several salons recommended by various friends, and I was dissatisfied after appointments at each, none of whom invested the time or interest in me that I wanted. I met Alexandar a year ago, and quickly learned that he is much more than a stylist, he is an artist and a scientist when it comes to hair. He also has an eye for what "works" for people and is able to transform a safe, predictible style into a new, much more flattering style. I went from a thin, damaged blond ponytail (which I'd worn for 6 years) to a lovely, healthy, thick red bob over the course of a few visits, and while I never would have thought of such a thing, the result is wonderful and so much better than I could have imagined. My hair looks good AND its healthy- for the first time in years! I could not be a bigger Alexandar fan, and I love Carrie, his assistant, as well. Each visit is like a little vacation and when I leave the salon I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Alexandar is truly wonderful- do yourself a favor and see what he can do for you.

What a great place!! The first time I stepped in the door I could feel the energy of the salon. The owner Aleksandar greeted me personally, and told me a little about the salon and his background in the industry. From the moment I walked in to the time I left it was a first class experience. Aleksandar is the Tiger Woods of the salon industry, his passion and dedication shows in his work. I?ve lived in Atlanta for 6 years and have continually been disappointed in every salon I have tried. I am a guy with a little style and wanted to feel confident that when I left a salon that I was not going to walk out with a buzz cut or some sort of a high and tight. This place is worry free and you walk out feeling like a million dollars every time. My haircut was exactly what I wanted, and if you want they will even give you beer, cocktails or wine (you have to love that). Alexandar Salon is a very upbeat place but personal experience, and I recommend it to anybody that wants the very best!

I visit Kari for my color and cut and she is amazing! She has taken my color from a bleached blonde to something that is extremely natural. My hair feels healthier and looks great! I love how she cuts my hair - I get plenty of compliments! Nothing is better than relaxing with a glass of wine while she makes me beautiful! You should really check her out - she is very skilled.
