A nice easy going place to go for pizza and try the chips & salsa! It makes my mouth water now. It's a fun place to take the kids for dinner...lots of tvs and colorful lights all over. Great place!

I don't know how to rate this. Do I rate it in comparison to the original on Chicago Ave? Or do I rate it on its own merits?

I guess the average of the two would be 3 stars.

It totally lacks the vibe of the Uke Village location. A vibe I happen to like. Basically this place is too new, too up-and-coming, and tryingt oo hard for my own personal tastes. I feel like patrons of the new Cleo's will have no idea about the "old" one and would never bother checking it out. Thats just how it seems at this point.

BUT

the service was good. (compared to the other location)
the food was good. (on par with the other location)
$3 Sapporos are alright by me. (in lieu of cheaper, rotating specials at the other location).

And all those flat screens, while driving you crazy if you're just trying to chill - are pretty sweet if you're hoping to catch "the game."

Its a mixed bag but I would probably go again. Why the hell not.

If I'm prowling the streets of Bucktown, you'll see me at either Map Room or Cleos on Armitage. While these locations are neighbors, their differences are stark. **It's worth noting, Map Room has never claimed to be a restaurant - that's

Pros: Cool atmosphere if you're looking for a place to eat, drink, and hang with post college graduate aged peeps. Pretty good weekly specials!

In Short
Standard neighborhood tavern decor gets flair from red flood lighting and metallic walls--a fetching combo when paired with exposed brick. The front room is equipped with the bar, comfy stools and high-tops. A…
