5 Stars: Old Town San Diego (by suyapa w.)

When I arrived to San Diego was only to find out that the hotel was overbooked and my room was no longer available. I was sent to the Padres Trail Inn for the night. However, the next day I was given a suite for inconvenience.

4 Stars: Close to hostoric Old Town San Diego (by aaron b.)

Close to Old Town is an understatement. This place is IN Old Town. A nice hotel within walking distance to nice shops, museums and authentic Mexican food makes this a great hotel to stay. Built in an old retail shopping center, this hotel is easy to get lost in because it has multi hillside levels and walk ways, stairways and paths. Sunday bruch at the attached Acapulco restaurant is decent but for regular lunch and dinner fare your best bet is going to one of the nearby eateries on San Diego Ave.
