We were taken by this organization 2 weeks ago. We fill ed out the application, they never checked our references. We paid $850 for a mini ausiedoodle, they gave us her records (altered name saying the vet screwed up) We got her home and checked out by a vet. The microchip number they gave us didn't match our dog because there was NO microchip (as part of our adoption fee) Our puppy also had a heart arrhythmia, which would have been easily detected as part of her spaying a week earlier. We notified them and told them we have bonded and we expected to be reimbursed for the lack of microchip and for an appt to a cardio specialist. We were going to swallow the rest of the fees!!!!!!! They sent the rabies tag, the age was listed as 12 months or above (she's 6). Spoke to their vet and found that she was part of a large filthy litter that was given to this group. They turned around and charged $850, pure profit. Their website claims they don't take dogs with hookworms, guess what. Ours had them!!!! Another fee we have to swallow to get her retested. Their only response is to return her, and we believe they will euthanize her. Drive 12 hours round trip and additional costs. They don't care about the dog they placed or the family that has taken her in and given her a chance at a wonderful life. They are for profit only. We are putting together a BBB complaint with pages of evidence. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GROUP, THEY ARE MOTIVATED BY PROFIT ONLY and are placing unhealthy dogs and charging top dollar.

I have attended training classes at this facility for a number of years,. THe positive training methods she uses are incredibly effective for all sorts of dogs, and her knowledge base is incredible. As a service dog trainer and therapy dog mentor Liz is world class, and regularly places dogs that work miracles for their handlers. She also has super puppy training methods that work wonders for individuals who practice what she preaches. I am really impresseed by someone that can get results with flat collars and body harnesses, since I have seen many other supposed "trainers" who resort to prong collars, chokes, and other ridiculous and brutal fixes instead of addressing the real problem. The good thing is that you will get none of that here!!
I think many people would be well served to attend Liz's class, since I have personally seen her make major changes in hundreds of dogs by this point. I use Liz's techniques with my own dogs and always get compliments on how well behaved they are. I have seen her ability to turn around both aggressive and fearful dogs, including my own rescued dog who has made major progress in each class we attend with her. I can say that these techniques ccertainly are a case where you reap what you sow, and know that her ideas require an owner/handler that is willing to put in the time. Many want quick fixes and fail to see how they contribute to the problem, so may be unhappy to learn that they impact their dog's bad behavior. Liz is honest and truly cares about helping dogs and their owners, and is just as willing to demonstrate how her techniques work using any dog in class. This is a change from some other places where a demo dog is used and leaves you to apply the ideas to your own companion.
I'm living proof that these ideas work, and reccomend her facility about once a week!!

Since May 2008, I have taken all 5 of my dogs through the obedience and specialty classes offered by Liz Norris / Pawsibilities Unleashed. Liz is an excellent, positive reinforcement trainer. I simply do not believe the person who posted that Liz struck her dog. I've seen Liz work with some very difficult and aggressive animals and have never seen her come close to striking any of them, that is not her training style.

Not sure who this person is that says Liz Norris hit their dog. I have been going to trainings with Liz for close to 3 years and have NEVER seen her abuse a dog in any way. Actually, I have seen her excuse students for hitting their own dogs. She uses positive training methods such as clicker training. She does not allow choke chains, prong collars, slip collars, or shock collars on any dog in her classroom. I received my son's autism service dog from Pawsibilties and am VERY pleased with the training we received and the quality of dogs she trains. I would recommend her to anyone that wanted help training their dog.
