If you're looking for a bit of a classy setting with your sushi, this would be a good spot. The prices seem to not only be for the setting but the fancy way they make their roles, which is a welcomed change from the normal roles with little flair im used to getting. As far as for the hot menu, they have a little flair in there too so dont be shy to add a little to your order. Overall a decent place to for an adult's night out

This is a relatively new sushi place in the area and the sushi is good, but truthfully isn't the best sushi I've ever had. The portions seem on the small side for the price. However I do enjoy the atmosphere. I do recommend trying this place however there are better places for sushi at lower prices.

A cute, up scale sushi place in Chula Vista. With one special sushi chef (Juni), who makes special rolls to drive for... We found him way back in 2001 and will follow him where ever he goes. If you love sushi drop by any night except Tue or Wed and ask for Juni, order his Special rolls.. Sexy Roll, Truck Driver, Alpine Fantasy, Something Special with Ele and many others. I promise it is the freshest, best tasking sushi in all of San Diego. We drive from Temecula to Chula Vista twice a month, if not more for this one of a kind experience. Fun for the whole family.

We drive once or twice a month from Riverside County to Chula Vista for Sushi chef Jun's special rolls including the "Sexy Roll" (sexy paper, sexy fish, sexy sauce) We had our first "date" at Jun's former location at the now closed Hayama's in mission valley and loved his creations so much that we forced the wedding location we chose to allow us to have him come in and make sushi appetizers for our guests (1500 pieces gone in 15 minutes). He also makes dishes called Super Johnson, Ironman, Alpine Fantasy, Special Eel Roll, and Truck Driver. He is friendly and takes pride in his work! He has a loyal following. The staff is friendly and the kids love watching the sushi chefs. We haven't tried the other sushi chefs here but they always seem to have a filled sushi bar. The restaurant offers non-sushi dishes as well and is gaining popularity
