Cadillac Cowgirl

When I visit Casper (about twice a year), I like to go to Cadillac Cowgirl and spend some money there. On a recent visit, I spent several hundred dollars and initially was pleased with the personal service I got from the owner. However, I was very disappointed with the 'follow through.' I needed to have my purchase shipped to me, and the owner said she would package up my purchase and ship it UPS the next day. After a week, I called her to inquire about where it was and had to leave a voicemail. I did not get a return call so later the next day I called again. She gave an excuse about not being able to print a UPS label from her computer for 3 days and said she would take it to UPS that evening. I did eventually receive my order, yet I am sure had I not called I would have gotten it even later - and she knew I was purchasing the clothes for a new job. When I got my order, my items arrived in a small, makeshift cardboard box simply half-heartedly folded - no tissue paper or other protective wrapping, no note of apology for the delay - just basically tossed in the box. I will now have to pay for some dryclean pressing. Amazing - especially given this bad economy. My order should not have arrived in this condition and it should have either been here on time or I should have been contacted regarding the delay (the excuse given was ridiculous anyway). I will not return to the store on my future visits to Casper - lots of other cute boutiques around to spend money in! Nor will I visit the website as I had told the owner I would to purchase items throughout the year. Cadillac Cowgirl just lost quite a bit of money which I would have easily spent this year since I need a lot of things for my new job.

Unique, cool clothing and accessories, from jewelry and accessories to handbags and clothing with a flair--this store is sure to please, although a bit pricey. Great personal service from the staff, too.
