This store sells many different Islamic goods like clothing, books, oils, etc. Soaps, incenses, and other body products are available. They also sell baked goods like the famous Grandma's Best Halal Bean Pies (umm...good!). I used to buy jilbabs for my daughters here, but don't anymore as the quality of them was getting worse. The last ones I got tore up so badly, I decided that I wouldn't go back there to buy anymore. The prices are very reasonable in the area, but you do have to examine the garments closely for flaws. The places where the garments are imported don't have good quality control. I wouldn't recommend purchasing any books there as many of the books are by questionable authors. Much of the clothing and accessories are disorganized and if you have the patience, you may have to dig through different sizes and styles to find a size on the hanging clothes. Some other things like khimars are in bins so you'll need to dig through that.

Another important point about this store is that parking in this area is horrible. And never go Friday after the jumuah services. The police presence is always there ticketing. If you park legally, it may be a distance from the store (not a safe area especially at night) and it'll probably be on a parking meter or a paid parking lot. Most of the people take a chance and park illegally and move when the cops come. I'm not condoning that, but that's what the people do.

Bottom line: You may find some great stuff there, but after being a resident of the area for awhile, I'd rather go to Atlantic Ave. in Brooklyn for better quality and selection.
