After sharing a disappointing lunch with out-of-town guests (from up north) at the usually fabulous Randy's earlier in the weekend . . . my husband and I took them to Junior's for dinner hoping that it would be as good as the first time we went there. It was even better!!! The Florentine pizza with Roma tomatoes added is utterly delicious. The crust is very yummy...flaky...almost pastry-like.I recommend starting with a salad topped with their homemade Greek dressing. The only disappointment is that the restaurant has been empty both times we've gone. It is amazing that Durhamites haven't discovered this pizza yet! Let's keep this unique, family-run business going!!!

I wanted to try out this new pizza place in my neck of Durham, so I called, ordered, and picked up. I knew that this place used to be a sports bar before it became Junior's, but I had no idea that it was still a bar/restaurant. I never go in bars and was quickly trying to get my pizza and get out. I had to go wait in the bar section to wait for my pizza. I wasn't to thrilled to be in there. Well, when we got the pizza, I wasn't impressed at all with how it tasted. It was pretty tasteless. The kids weren't impressed either. I won't be going back there. I'll still be going to Golden Pizza and Pizza Hut.
