I love stopping by at this borders. They have a great selection of books, magazines, music, etc. And the best part is that you can sit there easily and read through their items while sipping on a coffee from the cafe.

A welcome escape 4 Star Rating - Very good

Whenever I come to San Francisco I escape to Borders
A hot latte and a muffin in the coffee shop , chill out and relax in the silence. An overwhelming respite from a busy business day on the convention circuit.

Pros: Range, Coffee, Categories
Cons: Busy downstairs, new books section, is too rushed

could use a better music department 2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

All the basics are here. I was disappointed in the cd selection, and, the staff on that floor was fairly unhelpful. In the future, I'll head to Virgin on Market for music.
