I love this restaurant becoz of location and setting - the food is OK and the price is too high for quality. I don't mind to come back for getting together when I have a chance to visit

Every one has different tastebud, it could be great for others

Given the number of times I've had those damn spicy crispy noodles, I feel disloyal saying it....but Sai Mai ain't nuffin' to write home about. Unless you want to write a letter that looks like this:

Dear Mom,
I ate dinner from Sai Mai today. It was good. The food was hot, and it was ready insanely quickly. It was cheap...like, actually cheap. I spent less than $10 and I tipped. The people in there were as noncommittally surly as usual...exactly how I like my service. I could have eaten in there, since it's BYO, and that's rad, but Flavor of Love was on. Oh yeah, mom, all the kids say "rad" now. "Rad"= "swell." Until I learn to buy groceries, or it gets warm enough to justify the two-transfer bus ride up to Sticky Rice, I will probably continue to eat Sai Mai twice a week. It's consistent, and it doesn't give me indigestion. And it's cheap...did I mention that? Rustik right across the street isn't as provincially priced as its name might imply. So yeah, I'm on Team Sai Mai. Can I have some more money, Mom? Rad,

I've been going to Sai Mai since it opened. It is a great spot for good, inexpensive, Thai food. They make the best Phad Khee Mow in the city..hands down. The service is extremly friendly and prompt and the prices keep me going back.
