if this woman ever opens again run run away from her thievery . she is a total and complete thief. she sold my work, closed the store and tells me "oh, i guess you didn't get the memo that i had to close"- taking advantage of artists and the non-profit sector.
she has only answered limited emails with empty promises about how she will pay me back for ALL OF MY WORK she sold to pay her taxes. thief plain and simple-

Another Non-Profit Scam

I would like to say I was indeed stupid to trust the internet for my interest in non-profit organizations like All About Eve. I trusted the store and its contents but I was wrong to do so. Aside from my huge anger and waste of time and gas, most of all I was let down.
I am constantly told to be patient, it takes time. Well the sites I found this stores info at, the owner had promised in their companies description that the store was going to be stocked and 100% non-profit to showcase women's merchandise . Come to find out, she (the owner) will steal from your children's mouth if she gets the chance. Watch out for her.
When I say that All About Eve is the devil itself, I put it to you like this, only the devil himself would do what they have done. All About Eve has stolen the entire truth, honesty and kindness from the meaning "non-profit organization/business". I needed help, I asked for help and instead I got taken for a long hard ride, which hurts.
Do not trust any business sites of this nature, they are all part of the same group of terrible people... scammers.
If you do nothing else, find non-profit people and businesses in person to help you. Don't trust online services like I did. This will all come to an end. The money these thieves get, will run out. It is up to us to stop them. Spread the word on these scums, and stop buying from them. The testimonials are all made up.

Out of business??

Hello I am a desinger who had her work for sale at this store. I put my items in her shop in february and had sales for two months before she stopped contacting me around easter. Claiming a family emergency I gave the benefit to her. Then still no payments and not her site is down and number disconnected. Sad, I lost not only money made but all the items I left her as she is not answering email either. Just FYI so if she opens again (which i doubt) dont buy from her!!!!

Sadly, I had to put a one star rating on this store because otherwise I would not be able to submit this crucial review.
I am not one to talk terrible about other companies, especially retail stores because I am an owner of my own retail store in Oakland, CA. However, I feel in order for this owner to obtain more business, a review is necessary.
To make a long story short, the store seemed, disorganized, incomplete and dirty. However, I did some research and learned that the owner just opened the store.. so all opinions aside, the owner did a "okay" job for just starting out. I just feel that the reviews that the owner wrote on her own store were VERY over exaggerated in terms of product, services and overall what the store was about and carried. I wish the owner luck, but I warn consumers to stay clear unless you have a particular product that only this store carries.

Not only does this store sell only stuff made by women, but they carry stuff that both males and females can enjoy. Whether it be the handmade soap that smells so wonderful you don't want your shower to end, or some creative doo-dads for accessories or decorating. Hat's off to the owner, what a cool idea !!!

When you walk into All About Eve, you are truly walking into a world of fine art/craft...made by women who otherwise may not have a venue.
Whether you buy a handcrafted iPod holder, or a hand-embroidered jacket, you are supporting some very talented women who need a helping hand. KUDOS to the founder for her futuristic business sense!
