The Hilltop Steak House is what it is. It is a landmark that has been on route one forever. You can't miss the life size cows out front. The food is good for what you pay. The prices are very reasonable. The service is good.

You will mmediately know you are at Hilltop because of the line going out the door. The food here is great but you will never find a time that you do not have to wait to get in.

Every type of steak you can imagine is on this menu. The prices were reasonable, and the meal came with very large portions that were all delicious. I can understand why so many people love this place.

Hilltop Steak House is an icon on Route 1 in Saugus, MA. People flock to this restaurant every week and it is filled to maximum capacity until late into the evening. The food is average at best. Not the best steak I have ever had, it was lacking flavor and it was dry. Still people love it, so maybe they were having a bad night. Slightly overpriced for the location and the decor could use an update, looks very early 80's. Can't miss it with the cows out front.
