Before I explain the reasons for my low rating of Kyle Angelle's agency, I'd like to say that the woman I have worked with there for quite some time, Amber, has always been extraordinarily helpful, knowledgeable, and really gone above and beyond. None of the issues are reflective of her service -- they are issues with Mr. Angelle's running of his agency.

I have my family's life and auto with State Farm and they've been great. I recently called to ask for pricing on insurance for my townhouse. Amber let me know they could get me a good rate and we discussed all the particulars, including that I'd had a small fire a few years ago. (It was a faulty extension plug and didn't do any structural damage, just some property damage; somewhere around 5-7K.) She also let me know that my current company was overcharging me (a home policy rather than a condo policy). So as soon as we had it arranged, I called Liberty Mutual, yelled a good bit about overcharging me since 2004, and cancelled my policy. They informed me I'd have a $271 bill coming for cancelling. Several days later, I received a call from Amber saying that she was so sorry but they'd have to cancel my policy because of the fire, effective on March 28th. Then I received a letter dated March 14th saying they (State Farm) were cancelling my home insurance ON MARCH 14th and the letter wasn't even run through the postage meter until March 16th. The letter also said that we'd "mutually agreed" to the cancelling of the insurance, which is a blatant untruth, and that they'd refund me some unspecified amount. A few days later I received a letter from Texas FAIR (the folks who presumably do the actual insuring) saying my insurance was cancelled on the 23rd. I wrote a detailed letter to Mr. Angelle explaining the circumstances and asking him to contact me. He never did. When I asked Amber if she was allowed to give out his number because I wanted to contact him, she checked on it and came back with "He confirmed that we spoke with you and your refund was given." Neither he, nor anyone at State Farm (besides Amber) has communicated with me at all. I did receive a $90 with no explanatory cover letter from Texas FAIR. I don't even know how long I was actually uninsured. I do not appreciate being blown off and blatantly lied to. Not to mention the fact that I did pass the state bar so I feel pretty darned certain that if I incurred a debt (the $271) as a direct result of a promise/contract from his firm and he didn't hold up his end, he is responsible for it. But since he can't be bothered to call me back, I can't even discuss it with him. I'm planning to move my insurance as soon as I have time to shop because it would be impossible for me to trust Kyle Angelle's agency any less than I do right now. Also, I've set up a gmail just for this. If you want more information, please feel free to email me. This man should not be in a position of trust and if I need to redact my personal info and send copies of the documents they sent to me to prove it, I'm willing to put in the time. I have been with State Farm since October 2009. The insurance company I had before, I was not happy with. I needed a company that offered Auto, Homeowners, and Life Insurance. And coverage that was affordable. I am\nretired and divorced so you know I was looking for a good price. After contacting several companies, I finally came across one, Kyle Angelle State Farm. I knew this would be the best place, because after talking with the\nstaff, I felt very comfortable. He was able to answer all my questions and give me a good quote. He helped me right on the spot and has every since. When there are changes he contacts me right away and explains everything. He is always trying to see that I get the most for my money. I have never had any problems. He is always there to help any way that he can. I appreciate\nthe honesty and personnel attention that I get. I also have a life insurance policy with State Farm, which is very affordable. I have all this coverage, all for one nice payment a month, which still allows me to pay other things and still have a couple of dollars in my pockets. Thank you again. I have also told other family members about State Farm. They were so happy with the quotes that you gave them. State Farm was able to meet their needs and the quotes were much less than what was given from the other companies.

I have been working with Amanda for several years now, I have never had the honor of meeting her face to face, but our telephone contact feels as if I have seen her personally. Kyle Angelle's State Farm Agency has been my agent office for 4 years now. I have many different forms of Insurance through this company from personal to business. A couple of years ago I had to make a fire claim and Kyle made sure that the Fire team was out ASAP and my house was cleaned repaired and back in business quickly! It reminds me of the commercials, "Like a good neighbor, State Farm (Kyle Angelle) is there.
