First Steps Early Learning Center

I love First Steps! My son started in the infant room at First Steps when he was 3 months old. The center was supportive of me visiting to nurse my son during my lunch hour. He has now been at First Steps for almost two years (he is currently in the Toddler program) and is flourishing. I can not praise the teachers and the director at First Steps enough. They are extremely caring and attentive. My son also loves them and talks about them at home. As a parent I receive a written report every day when I pick up my son. The report covers how much and when he ate, how long he slept, his activities for the day (outside time, reading, art activities etc.) and additional notes. Recently the notes have been about his progress potty training. In addition, the teachers verbally tell me about his day when I pick him up. I am now expecting my second child. I have already spoken to the director about enrolling my second child.

Whenever I am at the center I see the same attention spent on my son applied to other children at the center. First Steps exists because the director and teachers are caring individuals. To them the center is not a business but rather a nurturing environment where my son spends the day while I work. Also while caring for my son the teachers prepare him for his future.

I researched many centers while pregnant with my son. It was a very easy decision to enroll him at First Steps after all of my research and visits to other centers. I have recommended First Steps to friends and will continue to do so.
