I LOVE Four Paws! Patti and Jenny are WONDERFUL! I have been bringing my two Labs and two Maltese there for about two years now. I love them! They are the best groomers I've ever brought my pets to.

I was not impressed at all with this place. The grooming left a LOT to be desired - my dog looked completely sloppy and unfinished. He just looked messy overall. I do not think the groomer here has any real skills. Or else she hurries through the grooming. Whatever the reason, this is the worst my dog has ever looked. And it was not cheap either. I do not feel the groomer was all that friendly either. My dog did not seem to take to her, and she didn't seem to make an effort to bond with my dog.This is probably just a job to her and not something she really enjoys doing, I will definitely NOT be coming back.

We have been going to Four Paws for a few years now and each time our Shelties are returned to us beautiful. This time, Jenny cut them very short because of the heat. They were simply adorable! They look like cuddly teddy bears! Thank you Jenny for the wonderful job and the friendly, clean atmosphere.

I had just recently moved to the area and had been looking for a groomer for my dog, Sporty. I explained to my neighbors that I was looking for a shop that was run professionally and where the groomer had and shown a true interest and love for the animals. I was looking for that one special shop. How lucky I was to be recommended Four Paws. Sporty was treated extremely well and with respect. We were greeted with great enthusiasm and I felt as if we had walked into a friendly, relaxed, well kept and extremely clean atmosphere. We were greeted by the clerk and then the groomer, Jenny. They, both, were so interested in learning all they could about my little Sporty. When I arrived to pick up Sporty at the promised time, I walked in to see Jenny playing and cuddling with Sporty. It was such a wonderful site to see. No groomer in the past has ever taken an interest in getting to know Sporty let alone make him feel so loved and cared for. His grooming job was beautiful. She used a shampoo to deal with his dry flaky skin and he smells just wonderful. His nails were cut properly and his teeth and ears were both cleaned properly. Sporty came home an extremely well groomed and happy dog. Thank you Jenny for being a wonderful groomer and having a wonderful shop.

I chose Four Paws because it was fairly close to my residence. Although I could've gone with other places for grooming I went with them because of proximity and reputation but boy was I wrong. The price I paid (above avg) was definitely not worth it. My dog came out looking worse than when he went in. Very disappointing.

I cannot believe people are saying such bad things about 4 paws. I love it they are so nice. She treats my dog great. We even got a cute x mas card of our dog Lacey with a Santa hat on after her grooming. I gave the picture to her dad he loved it and put it on his desk.. She even told me she thought my dog had a bladder infection and to take her to the vet. I took her that afternoon and she did indeed have an infection. I am very thankful for the wonderful way she treats my dog and myself. Thank you Jenny please keep up the good work and please ignore the jealous hateful words others continue to write. I guess they were never told if you cannot say anything nice don't.

Yea for Four Paws and Jenny! Stella loves to come see you every month for her grooming. Stella and I are always greeted with a warm welcome upon entering Four Paws. I am always asked what I want done with Stella on that given day. I am promised a time for pick up and Stella is always ready and properly groomed at the time promised. I highly recommend Four Paws and Jenny.

I have been bringing my pets to Jenny for quite a few years. I was thrilled to hear she opened her own shop. I have never seen a place that was so warm and homey. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Its great to find a place that is so punctual with my appointments. Kodiak is part Chow and is very temperamental. The only person that can handle him is Jenny. I will continue recommend Four Paws to everyone with pets!!!

Let me start out by stating that I have had my dog groomed by this business twice before, and I was generally happy with how she looked. Today was a different experience. I was running late for an appointment that I scheduled a week in advance, by about 20 minutes. I entered the shop, apologetic for the time lapse, but the owner was combative right off the bat. She told me since I missed my scheduled time, I would need to leave and come back 1 hour later to drop her off. The business was not visibly busy; there was one completed dog in sight and no one else waiting. She did have a logbook that appeared to have prior activity and she did say she had a busy day thus far. I asked if I could leave my dog and she could start her at her convenience, but she was adamant about us leaving and coming back, with a very short window of time being utilized for grooming. I explained that I had a car full of kids (4) and basically I would be driving home to drive right back. When I questioned this lack of flexibility, she stated that my dog barks and she cannot have dogs barking in her shop. (This is a dog groomer, not a library, I imagine barking does occur in the process). That said, our dog does not bark, even when in a crate circumstance, which she is exposed to daily and all night. This was perplexing to me, so I attempted to pursue her argument with additional questions, which in turn seemed to annoy her as well as her young employee, who then chimed in with a sarcastic retort. The issue here is customer service, which I feel is sorely lacking. It bears mentioning that Jenny has never been particularly welcoming or warm in our prior dealings. I do feel she was almost determined to not groom my dog and even when her Mother, who is also an employee, showed up during our exchange and tried to turn this encounter around, the owner seemed intent on being obstinate. Her Mother did ask me to leave the dog, but I was uncomfortable at this point, not wanting to leave my pet with someone who did not want to groom her. Being a skilled groomer is an asset but being able to work through all types of customer encounters is key to being a truly successful businessperson. I had recommended this business, based on her grooming skills to another friend. They utilized this business but we have since talked and they will not do so again. The old adage is true, bad press spreads much wider than good. I will make sure all of my pet loving friends and family know of the odd and rude encounter I had today. In today's economy, every dollar spent on extraneous things matters and people should think twice on giving business money that appears to not really desire to earn it.

I'm so sorry that you had a bad experience with us. We try to book our clients pets as to not keep them here for an unreasonable amount of time. Some dogs cannot be put in a run or a cage because they get stressed out. We would have had to keep your pet here for a long time, as we were booked every half hour. At the time you were standing up front 2 dogs came in at their scheduled time.It is not fair to other clients who expect their dogs groomed on time when you were 40 minutes late. I tried to accommodate you with a later time when you were finished at the pool, but at that time you were very angry. At no time did I ever say I did not want to groom your dog. I apologize to you if you thought I did not seem welcoming. At no time do I ever want to give you the impression. We have always had positive encounters before this, I don't understand why you were so upset. I feel bad loosing your business over a misunderstanding.

I took my dog here because I could not get in with my regular groomer, which was my mistake. The groomer at Four Paws seemed kind of bored when she greeted my dog. My regular groomer practically screams with excitement when she sees my dog! Sure she knows him well, but still, I have been to new groomers who at least greet my dog happily, so that he is not scared. As for the grooming, I wasn't very impressed with that either. I don't like the way she cut his face at all. The one positive thing I can say is that the shop itself is neat and orderly. Everything else needs some improvement, however.

I have a Jack Russell Terrier, T.J., that is not people friendly to people that he does not know. He has a very aggressive "Jack" side to him. When I tell him that he is going to see Jenny, he is at the door, tail wagging and jumping, to get into the car to go to her shop and see her. When we arrive at her shop, he can't get out of the car fast enough to get in the shop to see her. Rather than dragging him in, he is dragging me in; it has been a wonderful change to see him happy to go to the groomer! She is kind and gentle and a wonderful groomer. Her true love of the animals that she grooms is obvious not only to the animals she grooms but to their protective "parents" as well. Not only does she care about his grooming, but she shows sincere concern for his health and medical issues also. She shares her knowledge with her customers and the latest health information that she receives. Her shop is clean, organized and run professionally. I am so grateful that Jenny has her shop. She has a customer for life with T.J.! He loves her!!!! I recommend everyone and anyone to take their loved ones to Jenny to be groomed. You and your pet will never be happier.

I think the groomer needs to re-learn not only how to groom a dog, bur how to handle them. I felt like I was handing my dog over to someone very inexperienced, and my dog even seemed to feel that way because he looked uncomfortable. I just didn't get a good vibe from this place, and I felt like my dog didn't look his best. Normally he looks so beautiful and fluffy, I feel that she cut too much hair off and he looked bald and patchy. Not a good grooming job at all.

We have tried to make the shop as warm and inviting as possible with doggie beds, toys, and even peanut butter filled kongs while the dogs are here. Keeping the shop clean is top on our list. You will never walk into Four Paws and say, "EWWW it smells like dog in here". Thanks for your comment, we are so lucky to have you!

Jenny is just THE best!! She treats our Casey like he is hers! He loves going there and always looks great! Jenny and Patty are very professional, but really friendly. The shop is very clean and just adorable! They keep detailed records of what was done and always ask if you want to change anything that they did the last time - and then follow through.
I would highly recommend them!

Four Paws offers top notch service in a warm, friendly atmosphere. We have been clients since opening day & recommend them highly. Jen & Patty give my dogs the same gentle care that they get at home. Scruffy loves going to Four Paws for a day of puppy pampering.

I have been taking my new puppy here since October of 2007. Not only are the grooms great, but the service was quick, and everybody that works there is so nice! They actually gave me an imprint of my puppy's paw for free the first time I went in there! Additionally my groomer is always giving me helpful hints and tips to help me take care for her as this is my first pet. I am very happy I found this place and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Taylor always came in with her tail waggin and tongue a lickin. She was VERY smart, she would always let herself into the shop by pushing the half door right open and running in to see who was there for her to play with. She was becoming such a big girl. Always coming in with a new trick she had learned the week before and soooo excited to show me. She will be missed so much. Words cannot express how sad I am that she is no longer here. Taylor passed away at only 9 mos. old on April 7, 2008. She was tragically hit by a car. I will always remember that adorable little girl that made me smile every time she came in.

I have been to many groomers with my two huskies and a bulldog and this one is the best! I took my husky around the holidays, she loves to be outside and they did such a great job on her, I don't think I have ever seen her coat so white. They took a pic of her with a Santa's hat and I made holiday cards with it and now everyone in my family goes there. Jenny is really nice and you can tell she loves animals. I highly recommend this place.

My dogs are tough to groom (they're pugs and they hate to have their nails cut!) and this groomer did a great job! Not only did they seem super happy to be there (and didn't want to go home) but they smelled great for weeks after (even their wrinkle!). Jenny seems to really care about dogs and the picket-fence pens are so great! My dogs could look around the whole time! I will bring my dogs back again and again. It's a little far from my house but totally worth it!
