I took two workshops at Jennifer Weinberg photography and was very pleased with both. I bought a Nikon 5100 and didn't understand how to use the manual, aperture, or shutter modes. Jennifer's Mastering Manual Photography workshop taught me how to use the settings, when to use the settings, and when to stick with auto. Taking pictures is an entirely different experience now that I understand what I'm doing. You bring your camera to class and she has you find the settings and features right then and there, so you know how to use it on YOUR camera. the second workshop was Understanding Lighting and Flash. This was also very helpful - I didn't know I had a White Balance setting. I'd been doing my white balancing in Photoshop! Funny enough, I even found a WB setting on my phone camera when I bothered to look for it! I highly recommend taking photography workshops from Jennifer and her colleagues. If you're going to spend that much on a camera, you should know how to use it properly. Jennifer can help!

I needed professional photos for my consulting business portfolio, so I called upon Jennifer. She was fantastic to work with! I loved her style and personality. She was professional yet friendly, prompt with turnaround times, and she created beautiful photos. She was very understanding when I had to unexpectedly change my session time, which I appreciated! Her studio on Glenwood was easy to find. Everything was reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

I would like to share with you our experience with Jennifer Weinberg and a photo shoot for my 10+ month old son.

My wife, son & I arrived at the expected time and entered to meet Jennifer for only the second time since a Trade Show Booth meeting. She graciously asked us in and showed us around. At first we were a little concerned as the studio was in her garage, a least favorite room of any home for our son and one I may have had question with. It was a little chilly and the attention span of a 10 month old is relatively short, as we were soon to find out. We dressed him in his initial outfit and placed him in the photo backdrop. He cooperated at first and began to become uncomfortable. Jennifer was diligently shooting the entire time. We tried his favorite toys and books and nothing was looking like it was going to be "the shot". We decided to rest and change to another outfit. Jennifer suggested just the bib overalls alone. We agreed and returned to the backdrop as he become more and more uncooperative. Jennifer still shooting. We broke for some food for the tyke and changed him into his final outfit. A Nike romper which was our favorite an done that Jennifer said would photograph well. We went back to the studio to try one last time for a great pic. We held him to comfort him, played and jostled as we do at home, joked and laughed and sang his favorite songs, but now he was in total disarray and not pleased at all. BTW - Jennifer still shooting. We decided to call it quits when he was just no longer in the mood for much of anything. We thought the day was for not. And were disappointed at the expected results. Jennifer comforted us to say that most children are this way and do not last very long.

A couple weeks later as expected, Jennifer called as planned, to come to view the images she had taken. We set up a time and went to view them on the wall in slide show sequence with a nice music in the background. We were astonished at the results! Brought tears of joy and filled our hearts with pride. We viewed about 80 pictures, most of which were wonderful. All those times I stated, Jennifer still shooting, she was. She was able to capture the good, the great, the sad, the serious, the innocent and the special moments together and the true essence of our son. The shots of him in the bibbed overalls are priceless!

I am a graphic designer and asked for a number of shots to be retouched and recropped to satisfy my desires. She repaired the images flawlessly and even understood my requests verbally over the phone for cropping.

We now have a stunning array of images with him alone and with us, in color and black and white, a variety of 18 photos that we will treasure forever! The main 8x10 shot we chose is perfect and we are sharing just that one with the family. The rest are in a special book and in a framed display to go on our wall for all visitors to view.

She made a very tough day a day to remember one my wife and I will never forget . . .

Thank you, Jennifer.

The price was very reasonable and I would recommend her to anyone. Personal or corporate, I think she would do a fine job.
