So, we stopped in to Biryani House and had the lunch buffet. I think it was $8.99 each. I got a tour of the buffet and the waitress knew the ingredients (I have a milk allergy, so that was a star all in itself). The food was very good.

A notable lunch buffet and enviable kabab and tandooris dishes generate lots of buzz for this enticing Indian restaurant. Loved the freshly baked Tandoor Naans served on the table. So, too, do the outstanding all-colored light decor and

This is a really great place for homemade Indian food. It is in kind of an old building and I know some people are squeamish about eating in older places but don't let that deter you, their buffet is great. compared to other Indian

What can I say, Biryani House is no doubt my favorite Indian restaurant and is also high on my list of top fine-dining. I've visited before and just recently visited again a few nights ago.
The lamb Nihari and kababs were incredible, the meat was falling off the bone; absolutely delicious, melt-in-your-mouth texture. My friend and I had the paneer, i believe it was the tandoori paneer, as an appetizer and we both enjoyed it. My friend had the malai kofta as her entree, I had a taste and loved it, her as well.

The service was also great, ambiance was really cool, the bar setting is especially artistic. We even talked to the owner, who was so very genuine, respectful and nice. Talking with him was a wonderful end to the evening.
I have no doubt I'm visiting BH again soon, I recommend it to everyone, have been doing so with all my friends and family.

I went to Biryani House with some friends for dinner At last, authentic tasting food no cream ! The vegetarian dishes in particular were really well done. The chicken (a bunch of kinds) mixed grill on sizzler on the non-veg side were good-- not mind-blowing, but good. I would definitely come back again and eat more!

In terms of spicy level... they're spicier than the least authentic places, but nothing in the US has reached the levels of India-spicey yet. I think they do a good job of balancing with enough truly spicy buffet dishes to cancel out their too mild saag paneer, et al.

The Goat Nihari, was incredible, the meat was falling off the bone; absolutely delicious, melt-in-your-mouth texture. My friend and I had the Seek Kababs, i believe it was made in the tandoori , as an appetizer and we both enjoyed it. My friend had the malai kofta as her entree, I had a taste and loved it, her as well.

The service was also great, ambiance was really cool and dark, the bar setting is especially artistic. We even talked to the owner, who was so very genuine, respectful and nice, they also own the fast food center across. Talking with him was a wonderful end to the evening.

I have no doubt I'm visiting Biryani House again soon, I recommend it to everyone, don't go by re reviews just give a shot... try the incredible Kababs or Goat Nihari !

From RTP I normally don't drive far to grab lunch but last week friend of mine invited to have lunch at Biryani house. Initially with bit mixed thought I entered. But after taking few bited , i realized the difference. The starter with mouthwatering kababs and Chicken Tandoori was overwhelming.I think this is the only place I have seen Seek Kababs in buffet. It's heaven for Kabab lovers.I enjoyed delicious Goat Curry and Biryani. The place has changed a lot with lots of makeover. I was verymuch overwhelmed .A must place to go and try once, not get misguided by envious sarcastic critics.

I had lunch at this place during weekday. This is the worst place ever I had Indian food in United States. Everything tastes like as it is kept from days. Esp Gulab Jamun...Oh my god..Its awful...I would never go to this place again. Price is less, I think we get what we paid for, but we do get nice food with this price range.

Dirtiest restaurant in Cary (maybe world) but one of the best biryani's you would have ever eaten. North-Indian dishes are very good (rotis and currys). If you are ready to overlook the sanitation score (70/100) then i would recommend this place.

It's a decent place. The biryani is good and if you are a meat lover ... even better! The service is not the fastest but the food tastes good, especially after a cold tiring day at the university

I find myself going there much too frequently for their chicken dishes that are par excellence. Try out their butter chicken, tandoori chicken, chicken biryani and seekh kabab with garlic naan and you wont be disappointed.

The front desk lady updated me that Biryni House opening shortly a RTP branch at S Miami and NC 54 intersection ( next to the sprint store). I was very much excited to hear that. Now I don't have to travel long for lunch buffet.

I have been to Biryani house recently after hearing about the lunch buffet from one of my friend. i was proved to make a right choice after having the food there which was really delicious and awesome. The freshly cooked Biryani, Kababs,Chicken gracy and breads were too good to tickle my taste buds. The cost was very affordable and the ambience with light music was extraordinary. I would definitely recommend all my friends to have the taste this delicious Biryani (desi style). i would like to make a special mention of the Sheek Kabab, Lamb Kabab and Goat Paya (served on seperate order) which were incredible in taste. Not the least i would like to mention about the hospitality of staff which was implausible. Without any glitch i would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and make this as my regular visitng place for my lunch and dinner outings. i would like to Thank the Biryani House staff for serving everyone with delicious food and special thanks to the management for maintening ambience and Quality of food.

Biryani House has a lunch buffet every day now. I go there often and have never been disappointed. The offerings are always freshly cooked, spicy babeques(kababs and Tandoori Chickens) with a wonderful variety of dishes and flavors, along with unusually satisfying Indian breads and a warm, soothing dessert nearly every day.

Biryani House has a warm, friendly and upbeat feel, and the staff are particularly welcoming and helpful. There is more costly fare and fancier decor at some other restaurants, but the price at those places is not justified compared to what Biryani House offers on buffet. And remember, you're not buying the wallcoverings or the chairs, but you take the food home with you?and in the most intimate manner. I am happy to recommend Biryani House without a hitch.

Seriously, how the quality of this place has fallen. The first time my friend and I found Biryani House it was half as big, maybe 5 tables and a great cook who would even make us Onion Chutney if you asked her. Now its over priced stale food and apparently this last time (definitely my last time) the place smelled bad enough the "waiter" felt it necessary to spray air freshener under every table while I was eating. Great now i get bad food and it can also smell like a bathroom! He sprayed enough Oust to make my food taste like it as he made his way to the back then brought a box of frostbitten raw chicken through the dinning room from whence he came! I don't care how clean it was back there that's seriously the wrong impression to give. I immediately lost what appetite i still had and was upset enough to sign up to warn others. It has either been sold or they lost the cook and been replaced by a far inferior group of people. They spent a lot of energy making a large dining room, raised prices and then forgot to care about the food. Try anywhere else nearby you will leave much happier. I mean circus burger at least has cotton candy. It's a shame too, this place used to be great.

We found Biryani House nearly two years ago, and we return there at least once a month!
Friendly and accomodating wait-staff...and a menu that is sure to provide a great meal for any fan of Pakitani-Indian food. Not just Biryani....a FULL Indian menu, and a full Tandoori menu to boot!
Reasonable prices, efficient service, and a comfortable atmosphere....one of our favorites in Wake County! Try the Dynamite Full Tandoori Chicken Spicy One !! It mouth watering !

The best Indian-Pakistani food we have ever experienced. Excellent quality and service was satisfactory. I have always had the best food and service. We have never eaten at the one in the city and that seems to be the one with the harsh reviews. But the Biryani House , Cary has always treated us very well. We even brought their food to our family in NY. Fantastic!

We went here for a date night. The food was good, but the atmosphere wasn't too great. The huge TV screen with the Bollywood music videos was more than enough to kill the mood. The prices were pretty reasonable so we'll probably come back eventually, but we prefer Taste of India in Durham.

The food was good, I had chicken tikka masala and plain naan bread. The masala was spicy, but not overbearing.

The food came out in "shifts" first the tikka masala orders, then 5 minutes later the Lamb biryrani and vegetarian dish, then 10 minutes after that the fish tikka masala. Very frustrating, as I wait to eat until all dishes are served and everyone can eat.

As for the service; it was terrible. I never received my glass of wine, the other female at the table never received her Diet Coke and they had the gall to bill us for both! We had to remind them 3 times to get all of our orders for naan bread. Good food, but I probably won't be back because of the service.

unbeleiveable,2 time i went there i did not get palak paneer, both items are on the menue.I ordered kababs and chicken biryani, kababs were old and seems to me reheated and biryani has too much oil.
2nd time i ordered bihari kabab and i saw the guy was heating old peices in the microwave.I dont know why
i am getting old food.I will never go back there and will suggest dont try that place even cooking staff is not
hygienic.the guy who heated my stuff was on phone and during reheating he did not wash his hands at all while he put his hands in his pocket. He touched all peices with bare hands.

This place is the best in the small town Cary,NC. I love the lunch buffet with nice spicy kababs and Chicken Tandooris. This place has been now nicely decored to make more comfortable for customers. They have also started serving Beers and Wine that go good with barbeque food specially with Bihari Kabab etc.

The must eat is the Lamb Seesh Kababs!!!!!!!!!!! Great Taste !!

I've used Biryani House three times for catering and have been very impressed each time. I used them twice to cater and Iftaar during Ramadan and once to cater a walimah. Each time the service I recieved was excellent. The food was ready on time and delivered without any hassle. The two times I had to pick up the food (because I asked to) the food was packed very good and ready to go. One of the employees even helped me load the food into my car.

I would definitely recommend this place for your catering needs, but be warned... the food is spicy.
