Jack N Jillybean Salon

My son (4 years) had such a fabulous experience! I'm a stylist and he refuses to get his haircut by me because he would rather go to the "fancy" place. AND we live two hours away. Totally worth the drive.

We took our 1 1/2 year old & almost 3 year old girls yesterday. We had a great experience. Sydney did both our girls hair and she was excellent with them and made them feel very comfortable. My only complaint is that they only take cash or check, but no credit cards or ATM. Other than that, they were great. We highly recommend them. We woun't take our girls anyplace else for future cuts. They even treated this as if it were their 1st haircut. We are adopting the girls so this was a treat in itself.

I would like to recommend Jack & Jillybeans Hair Salon. I took my son in for his very first haircut & received wonderful service. The stylist, Glenda, listened to how I wanted the hair cut & did a great job. My son enjoyed sitting in the fire truck & rang the bell almost the whole time. Glenda also offered an age appropriate video & a child's cell phone to help keep his attention. While my son played she delivered a quick cut on a little moving target. Not only was she quick, but the cut is cute as can be. I wanted my sons first hair cut to be special, & our experience at this salon was just that. Thank you Jack & Jillybeans!

I take my twins to Jack n Jillybeans Salon in Roseville. We all loved it! The shop is not only clean but the cars are really fun for my boys who are 2 1/2. They always want the Blue Angels plane, and always want another hair cut within a week. As a mom, Im glad that the set up there is such that I can get my own hair cut, the Moms Station is next to the play area so I dont need to get a babysitter. The boys love the train table with all the Thomas and Percys; two of each to accommodate twins. This shop has thought of everything! I highly recommend it to all the moms of multiples.

I take my two sons to Jack n Jillybeans Salon in Roseville. We all loved it! The shop is not only clean but the cars are really fun for my boys ages 3 and 7. Ben likes the Blue Angels plane, and always want another hair cut with in a week. Garrett likes playing the Pac Man Video game while he gets his hair cut. Ben got blue gel for his spikey hair too.

My wife and I took our son to this salon for his first ever haircut. We found the store to be clean and the various planes, firetrucks and other distractions pretty cool, but that's where the good stuff ends.
The woman who cut our son's hair appeared to be very uptight, and a bit awkward, as if she was a complete rookie; the result was a haircut which we had to "fix" when we got home.
The issue which sent us over the edge was when it came time to pay; I whip out my card and the proprietor says,"oh I'm sorry, we don't accept cards". When I inquired as to why she said, "This is a business and we need to make a profit, those card companies want me to pay 4% on each transaction." Based on the price of our haircut ($16) she would have paid $0.64. She then motioned to one of those generic ATM machines she had installed in her shop, and said we could get cash there.
Apparently she would rather the customer pay the $2-3 charge for using a non-bank ATM, along with the $3-5 dollars charged by my own bank for using an ATM other than theirs, and I am sure she gets a cut of the ATM fee.
Needless to say we won't be returning to J&JB for our son's next haircut.

After my experience at Lollipops Cuts I was hesitant to try another kids shop ($16 a child can add up) At Jack N Jillybean Salon I found it to be very clean. The hairstylist spoke and understood me, and there wasn't an extra charge for a Bob or A-Line or any other hair cut that is now in style(I'm loving it). My little one sat in a car and watched Dora while getting the haircut. And my older one (too old for the cars) got to play video games while the haircut was happening. The cuts looked like real styles. I highly recommend this place! Truely a hidden treasure.
