Don't go. Insultingly overpriced. Most steaks $50.00. ($89.oo for 8 0z lobster + 8 oz steak). Could not believe how ordinary the food was considering what they were charging. Food is ok, not great, would not go back just for the food

This is a local fixture for a good reason - the steaks are of the highest quality. This is an old-school, dinosaur of a steakhouse - bearnaise sauce, dark wood paneling, and high prices. I have enjoyed eating here. I also purchased

We purchased 2 groupon discounts for this restaurant and were excited to visit. Both visits were more than disappointing, we found ourselves a bit miffed. First off, we purchased $40 worth of dining for half price. We drank water and

The Summit has excellent food and wonderful service. The main dining room has a great ambiance with a nice menu to choose from. Best Steak around! I would also suggest trying an evening in the Cabin (the other portion of their restaurant) They offer a more inexpensive menu in there with live music on Fri and Sat nights (which I always enjoy) I love the calamari, ahi tuna, & french dip. The sliders are awesome as well. I usually go between 3pm and 7pm for half priced appetizers and there are drinks special from 11-7. Overall if you are wanting a more inexpensive menu & a fun atmosphere...try the Cabin side of the restaurant! I've never been disappointed!

This place is fabulous! The steak is just as good as you would expect, if not better! The service we had was impeccable, very friendly. Our drinks were always refilled, dinner brought in a timely manner. We will definitely be back!

Went to have a special dinner here to celebrate. Was disappointed overall.

The Beef Carpaccio was great! The temperature of the prime rib was perfect, but wasn't impressed with the flavor (very bland). Onion rings & Fried shrimp were from frozen. Service seemed pretty good, until she got in the weeds. Just seems pricey for a mediocre meal.

I have had better meals at Red Lobster and Black Angus. For about 4th the price. The Summit needs to live up to their prices!

Won't go back!

Pros: Nicely Cooked. Great Carpaccio

Cons: Overpriced, Bland recipes

I took my husband to Summit for his birthday and was sorely disappointed. We knew that it was quite pricey, but were shocked by the $85 price for a filet and lobster tail...and even more shocked when the food came out. Summit is your typical steakhouse - has done little in the past 20 years to update their decor or their menu. No presentation, no interesting dishes, wood paneling on the walls...
My husband had a ribeye, which you could taste the grease from the flat top. My fried shrimp could have come from Red Lobster. Even little things, like the mushrooms for the steak and the cocktail sauce - the mushrooms were drowning in oil and the cocktail sauce was basically ketchup. To top it off, our server barely paid us any attention and we waited for our dishes to be cleared for a good 20 minutes and then ended up having to request the bill.
Summit needs to step up their menu, their service and their atmosphere to have as steep of prices as they do. I do not recommend this restaurant.

This is a great place for a steak and a pleasnt atmosphere to eat it in. Sometimes there is someone there playing piano. It is always an enjoyable evening.

I knew from the online menu that this was going to be expensive, but I am shocked and completely regret going to this restaurant. My girlfriend ordered the 8 oz Filet and Lobster tail, the 8oz filet was a third the length of my 12 oz and about the same thickness, then the lobster was the same size as her steak......$85, My 12oz Ribeye was cooked very well but no flavor, only seasoning was cracked pepper on top, I was expecting something special for the price $31, all told we had one drink each (martini and rum and coke) two dinners, the summit sampler for appetizer and no sides and my tab was $177 with just a %15 tip. Ive had a better Ribeye everytime I go to Texas Roadhouse. The ambiance was nice and quiet with a candle for a bit more romantic atmosphere and the service was impeccable. But if you are looking for something special this is not it, plain steaks, regular boiled lobster with butter equals extremly overpriced and regrettable experience.

I had been craving a steak and Summit exceeded my expectations. They brought my steak on a sizzling plate so it stayed hot through the whole meal. It was cooked medium rare and I had the blue cheese. My husband had the salmon and enjoyed it. It is pricey so we will save for special occasions.

As a special treat my husband took me to the Aurora Summit. He claimed it was the best steak ever. Mine was undercooked--like still mooing on the plate. I wanted it medium-rare, but it was so thick a cut that the outside got burned and the inside was still cold and bloody. It was a terribly expensive meal to be so disappointing. My husband swears it was a fluke, but I don't want to go back because I can't afford to pay another $150 for the two of us to eat to find out if this is "the new quality" instead of a one-time thing.

This place has a great atmosphere and if you enjoy steak and seafood this is the place to be. Wonderful food with a nice variety of salads, seafood and steak. The service was good and there was plenty of parking available.
