Simply Shopping with Kathy Fahy

Unfortunately I was quite disappointed with the service Simply Shopping provided me.
Firstly I thought they were going to show me a selection of clothes from a range of shops, but only one shop was used and at a very high price range. I was told that this shop had a great sale going on, but when I got back to my hotel, I checked the receipt and only five items on the list out of the 22 were on sale. The other items I thought were very over priced. I ended up taking back $3700 worth, as I thought I could get better value for my money.
So I wound up being left with just a few items. What a waste of time and money.

Kathy is Simply Kathy...she is able to zero in on your personal style quickly, but with great fun and kindness. She makes wonderful suggestions to spruce up the wardrobe for any budget. She has no problem weeding out the closet and adding colorful, exciting additions that make you feel stylish and feminine. I would recommend her any time to anyone!

Working with Kathy was a fun, eye-opening experience. Having given birth to twins at 57, nothing in my closet fit even though I had lost a considerable amount of weight. Kathy's Wardrobe Rejuvenation session took me out of my baggy-pants look and showed me how I could look like a Hot mom at 60.

This is my second time using Simply Shopping with Kathy Fahy and it was a success both times! The first time was in New York in the summer. Kathy was great! She just seemed to know what would look fabulous on me and where to find it. As the President of a small IT firm I needed to look sharp but casual enough to fit in to our business casual climate. I also needed the right mix of clothes for meetings and presentations with clients. That one day with Kathy in New York was so successful I was convinced to get her help again in the fall. This time, Kathy came to Maryland outside of Washington DC where I live. We spent several hours organizing and analyzing my closet. Without making me feel foolish or uncomfortable, Kathy helped me see what clothes were good choices for me and which ones had to go. Not only did she help me clean out my closet she also educated me! Now I understand what looks good on me better than I ever have in my life. When I think about all the money I wasted on buying the wrong outfits?Then she went over the season?s fashion trends. I?m too busy to follow them myself, but in just a few minutes with Kathy I knew exactly what I needed to bring my wardrobe up to date! Then we went shopping in Washington. She did equally well in DC as in New York. She had researched in advance where to go and what I should try on when we got there. I feel so good wearing the new outfits we bought and the ones Kathy helped me put together from what I had in my closet. The less time you have the more you need Kathy! She will save you time, save you money and help you look your best!

As a marketing executive I understand the importance of personal image and first impressions. I personally needed a 'refresh' after faithfully following an exercise and diet program for seven months. Kathy Fahy's Simply Shopping service was actually recommended by a sales manager in a popular and fashionable NYC department store. She had seen Kathy work with clients in the store and remarked on her ability to visualize what items would enhance a person's figure or what colors would liven them up - it is fun to take a chance on something other than black!!! With me, she tactfully advised me that loose clothes sometimes make you look heavier, and sometimes it is a good idea to 'change it up a bit' and try a new style, brand, color, or look. How she just 'knew' what would flatter me, still amazes me.
My original focus was on clothes for business; I travel often and do quite a bit of presenting to clients.
Kathy recommended a number of 'key' items, some great accessories, and shoes. The ultimate decisions were mine, but after that afternoon I trusted her clothing suggestions and image tips. Simply Shopping with Kathy Fahy is a fabulous service, an educational experience, a great investment, and a fun day with someone who knows fashion and how to shop.
I am also going to try Kathy's Closet Cleansing service; we set a date for the end of September - so you just may hear from me again ! FS

I was rejuvenated after shopping with Kathy Fahy . She was suggested to me by a friend . I've never asked for professional help and was a little worried that it might not work for me. I've recently lost some weight and have more to go.
Kathy helped me see myself in a new light! She selected some pieces to show off my recent successes and others to transition me while I continue to work on my figure .
As an unexpected plus she was also very tuned into accessories and how the right bag and earring can update a look and make you feel great ! I bought two bags !

My husband and I recently went to New York for a show but I also wanted to find something to wear to a wedding this spring. Unfortunately shopping is not my husband's favorite hobby so in the interest of keeping him happy I called Kathy Fahy. We found a fabulous dress and my husband was amazed that we didn't take an entire day to accomplish this task! He has decided that he is going to have Kathy help him with suits and ties on our next trip to NYC!! Maybe she does too good a job??!!!!

Arguably the most important shopping day in any girl's life is the day she goes to look for "the dress", her wedding gown. Filled with excitement and nerves, I called Kathy Fahy to help with my endeavor. I traveled from Boston to New York, where Kathy made me several appointments at New York's finest. Kathy gave me her opinion of each dress, while keeping in mind my personal taste and style. After finding my dream dress, Celia by Elizabeth Fillmore, Kathy encouraged me to make a follow-up appointment with the designer. It was an incredible experience to meet Elizabeth Fillmore and have her take my measurements for the gown. I'm getting married this December and can't wait to wear my gown (and have Kathy help me accessorize for my big day)!

I recently used Kathy's service to help me find the right look for a gallery opening. She took me to shops and a new designer that I would never have found on my own...and of course bought an awesome dress for the opening and 2 new amazing skirts for spring. She is now on the hunt to find the perfect mid century coffee table for my home.

I used to love to shop, but now as a working mom with two kids, I just don?t have the time nor the energy for the juggling act: lugging around an infant and keeping an eye on my three-year old (who coincidently likes fashion too!), while trying to make my selections. Shopping became stressful, especially with all the choices available ? it could take me well over an hour to find the right pair of jeans! That?s where Simply Shopping comes in ? Kathy amazes me every time. She knows what designers work for my body (pre and post pregnancy) and finds selections that fit me perfectly. It?s amazing what Simple Shopping can do for your psyche - especially post pregnancy when nothing seems to fit. Kathy?s selections truly revived me and made me feel like myself again at a time when I needed it most. Much to my daughter?s delight, Kathy also has an eye for children?s clothes! So whether you?re a budding fashionista at the age of three or in your thirties like me, you?re bound to have a great experience with Simple Shopping.

Recommended by my mom, I was thrilled with my "simply shopping" experience. As a doctor, I don't have much time to shop but still want a fashionable wardrobe that meets my needs. Kathy Fahy's selections were perfect with regards to fit, style, and comfort. Many items that are now favorites of mine are ones I would not have necessarily tried on or picked out for myself! Simply Shopping understood my needs and took care of the rest. All-in-all a great experience.
