i WOULD LIKE TO SAY SMART TECH IS A VERY GOOD COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH. I HAD PROBLEMS WITH TWO OF MY COMPUTERS THE TECH CAME TO MY HOME TO FIX IT THE SAME DAY I ALSO HAD A BAD VIRUS INSIDE ONE OF MY COMPUTER AND I NEEDED THE COMPUTER BACK THE SAME DAY I DROP IT OFF AT 3PM HE HAD IT FINISHED BY 7PM THAT NIGHT IF I HAD TO HAVE ANY COMPUTER WORK DONE THIS WOULD BE THE COMPANY THAT I WOULD TELL ANYONE TO GO

i just want to share my unhappy exprince with smart techs
i had hp desktop thet was serviced by smart techs in gaithersburg, so i drove from silver spring and droped it for service , hp some thing call oem smart techs said vista is bad i need to upgreat to windows seven , but all this years i was fine , in past i used someone local for virus and it was fine , so long story short, i spent 300 dollars taking his word for , and upgreaded to win 7, guss what i founded after 3 months from microsft they tampered my windows 7 with crack or bootleg key, i was getting messge that my copy is not org . this is not a joke people i have reported to microsft about smart techs tampering my pc , call hp and also spoke to them , they cant help me recover my pc but hp charged me $99.99 to send a tech out to wipe my pc with vista , thanks god for that so just last week i had a local compine call windcomputing tech fixed , i didnt want to any thing to him , i will try using his service from now onn. all this i had to go throu bec smart techs wiped my recovery part of hp oem . i have disided to ever ever again taking my computer to smart techs. my son found out all this , we are not in posi to waist sueing smart techs ,

Wrong Comany? replied on 07/28/10 She must have the wrong company. We do not install boot leg software even if asked by the client. We give every client a 30 day warranty or give a refund if problem is not fixed. Confused maybe by the name , fast techs, abc techs...? . If she is one of our customers she should call us immediately to resolve this issue. All our contact info is on this page.
It was late Friday afternoon and Smart Techs came to our resue!!!
They were very kind and understanding and extremely patient with us...fixed my daughters computer quickly and made a teenager very happy!!!

Dropped my computer off yesterday and got it back today. So far so good! They were friendly and provided a free quote. Also a 30 day warranty on my repair. Great place all around.

Highly recommend. Woke up to a dead PC. Called Smart Techs, and they had someone pick it up the same day. The next day, I got a call diagnosing the problem, which they promptly fixed. I could have picked it up that day but preferred to wait until the following day, when I got home delivery (and he nicely reattached all cables and booted it up for me). All for $99. Would definitely use them again.

My desktop was plagued with spyware problems. A tech came later the same day I called and fixed the problems I'd been trying to fix myself in less than an hour. Next time, I'll call smart techs first and save myself some headaches.

My Sony laptop computer just stopped working and would not charge..I didnt want to buy another computer and didnt know where to take it! So I googled "laptop repair maryland" and Smart Techs came up. I am VERY happy with the fantastic, door to door 2 day service. My laptop was picked up Monday morning, I was called Tuesday to say it was fixed and it was dropped off to me on Wednesday before noon. I am very pleased!!

Project: Return To Work Inc. (R2W) helps soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan get back to work, back to life. Smart Techs came to one of our soldier's home and got him connected to the internet in just a few minutes,... as compared to the Comcast technician who spent two hours and still wasn't able to solve the problem. I'd recommend Smart Tech to anyone who needs honest and competent help.

My Computer was acting up for a few weeks and then all of the sudden it just died. I didn't know what I had done wrong and found my self lost and confused. I went on line from my friends laptop and found Smart Techs. One reason I chose them was because of their guarantee that if they can't fix it You don't pay. I made a appointment. And was serviced with in 24 hours. Which was awesome because other Corporate companies always take about 2-4 days to come out (if your lucky). When the technician came out he was friendly and very respectful. He explained what the problem was and what had to be done to fix it. I got my PC back in two days nice and clean. I was very pleased I LOVED the small business feel that the company has. I was treated like a valued customer. And that is hard to find now a days with all these computer repair companies out here claiming to be the best. I highly recommend them.
