Park Explorers Summer Day Camp

I was eleven years old when I first attended Park Explorers and I'll never forget all the fun I had there. I remember our trips to Manhattan Beach, playing wiffle ball and soccer in Prospect Park. I loved all the activities, but mostly I remember how much I loved the staff. I attended the following 3 summers through age 14, and I still have many of the memories and friendships I made at camp those 4 years. Currently I'm a college student, and this past summer I rejoined Park Explorers as a counselor. At the staff orientation I was surprised to see so many familiar faces and realized I was not the only camper that return as a counselor, and I am glad to say that the warmth and feel of the camp had not changed during my absence, and I look forward to coming back next summer!
