Just a wonderful vet! Very knowledgable, attentive, thorough, and communicates well. Answers any questions in an easily understandable manner, and never in a condescending way. Love Dr. Amos' personality and the atmosphere created by some of the nicest techs I've ever met. Everyone is just top notch. Thank you so very much for everything. We won't be going anywhere else.

We were spoiled by years of care by Dr Isaacs & have drifted around to different practices since he left Greensboro. We found good vets, but had other concerns about the practices in general.
My rescue border collie (who was abused as a puppy & is scared of EVERYTHING) was completely won over by Dr Amos & his staff. I have never seen him wag his tail in a vet office until now. Dr. Amos sat on the floor & made friends with both my dogs before examining them. I feel as though we will be in good hands as my dogs age & need more of his help.

Dr. Amos and his staff are truly the most wonderful veterinary care around! My husband & I have been to several around Greensboro and hadn't received even similar animal care. I'm not saying the others were horrible....just different. At BVH, you receive more than just care for your animals, but piece of mind. Dr. Amos is so friendly, knowledgeable, and really shows he cares about the animals. They really spend time with you, explain everything they are doing and why, give service estimates (that they stick to), not overpriced, and really connect with you and the animal. We couldn't be happier with all the services we have received and all of our animals (including the Chinchilla Dezi - if needed) will be patients of BVH!!

Some friends recommended Dr. Amos and Battleground Veterinary Hospital after they transferred their dog to his care. We had a new puppy and weren't sure where to go. From the very beginning, Dr. Amos and his staff have been great. Our Goldendoodle Otto took a liking to eating things, which unfortunately resulted in several surgeries in a period of three months! Dr. Amos was compassionate and available when we needed him. My three young daughters even comment on how glad they are that Otto has Dr. Amos to take care of him. I would recommend Battleground Vet to anyone.

Dr. Amos and Staff are wonderful and knowledge. I have referred several pet owners to this clinic because of the compassion and knowledge that is offered. Anyone that is looking for a new vet should without a doubt try Battleground Veterinary! You and your pet will be treated with the utmost respect and care!

I have 2 cats and a new dog. When I moved to Greensboro in 2000, I vet hopped for several years and was never happy with the quality of care I found. The vets I came across lacked compassion and understanding for both animals and myself. I was also unsatisfied with their knowledge of the practice of animal medicine,( I am a pet owner who does a LOT of research on my own). All of this changed when I met Dr. Amos and his staff. Dr. Amos is by far one of the best vets I have ever come across; not only with his knowledge but also his kindness and compassion for both humans and animals. This goes for his staff as well. Experience, kindness compassion and EXPERT care is what I receive at Battleground Vet. I am a tough costumer and I greatly appreciate their putting up with my and my crazy and wonderful pets!! If you are looking for a terrific, reasonably priced, hands on, ALWAYS attentive vet I highly recommend Dr. Amos.

I was a client of Battleground Vet for about 8 OR 9 years and was upset when the office closed. I went to two other Vet practices - and I just wasn't happy with any practice - they were either too much money or just didn't seem to care or just too formal.When I found out that Battleground opened again I was thrilled. I brought my Bailey Boy in- and Dr Amos has helped my very itchy dog. I have tried everything . All I can say is I am glad the office re-opened and I'm glad to be back.

Dr Amos and his staff are the best I have ever experienced in my 30+ years of pet ownership. I inherited a very ill older cat. I initially took him to a different local vet who quickly through in the towel on him within 20 seconds of reading his blood panel. That was unacceptable so I looked around. I chose Dr Amos and he reached out to many knowledgable resources and recommended a course of treatment that provided my cat with years of quality living at a very reasonable cost. Dr Amos and his friendly staff adored my cat and always welcomed him with open, genuine loving arms.

Dr. Amos and his staff are absolutely wonderful, caring people! I wish all vets and their staff would treat animals with the respect and compassion that they receive here. What is even better is that the people are treated as nicely as the animals! I have had my animals to Dr. Amos for everything from a nail trim, dental surgery, heart problems, you name it! I won't go anywhere else!

This hospital was closed for over a year, and reopened under entirely new ownership and management. We are trying to bring back the spirit of the "old" Battleground Veterinary Hospital (the BVH people experienced 10 years ago!). Since opening a year ago, we have met hundreds of wonderful people, and we are pleased to be a part of this great community. We have a website at vetboy.com, and can be reached by phone at 545-5569.
