.

I went to La James in 2010, I graduated high school, toured iowa school of beauty and la James in Johnston. While touring I thought that la james looked nicer than isb. I signed up, paying 350$ enrollment fee. I was looking forward for a good education in hair, little did I know what I got myself into. Within the first 2-5 months we went through multiple instrustors. Totaling 26. Wow. My first instructor was very nice and we actually enjoyed school and learned styling. Next was haircuttung; all of a sudden we found out are teacher was leaving and we was getting a new instructor, in that week of haircutting we we're suppose to learn mail haircuts, with that resulting of a big waste of time with all of are mannequins with smiley faces etc. Never learned one thing. Then the next month later as we finished Color wewere suppose to be on the floor cutting hair all day!! I did not know how to even do a haircut at all!! Long story short, I was told by a instructor to scribble on a piece of paper to look busy if someone came in the room. Complete waste of time money and ruins young girls lives just out of high school with not a clue in the world as to how this debt effects there future. Let alone paying for something that was a complete was of time! I wouldn't agree to pay them 1 penny for there teaching. I would agree paying on the kit I received yea, but for the stress and complete rip off of a school no! I give one star for the one good teacher I had! As I go complain to iowa attorney general. Class of 2010 who reads this, file your complaint!
