I tried to find the library there and the people are not helpful or knowledgeable. The students seem nice but kinda gangsterish and not the cream of the crop but it's a beautiful building with good landscaping. Don't know about the education

I was pretty happy with the college as far as image goes. I had a hard time getting help from anyone. The counselors didi not help much. I had to contact a counselor in the Henderson branch just to hep me out. When I went to the registration line they did not seem to ant to help. I actually was always reffered back to their website and told to figure it out. That was very frustration. I enjoy talking to someone no doing everything through a computer. I reccomend they make their students feel a little more welcomed when starting out.

good atmosphere and a wide array of classes offered. Going for a 2 year degree, or continuing education. this is a great place to go. the only thing i would wish is that they had a wider array of night classes available

This is a great community college that I attended for 3 years. The classes were alot cheaper that classes at the university that I am going to now. The faculties are very professional and they offer so many programs and different locations that you can go to. They also offer continuing Educations for the professionals who wish to take classes to better their educations.

I've been attending CCSN for about 2 years now. I've had a great experience there. The instructors are very proffesional. The schedules are flexible to fit most people's lives. There are many options for taking classes at tech centers around town or online distance education. I'm transferring to UNLV in the fall and was happy to find out that all of my credits will transfer.

PROS: Credits transefer to UNLV, Distance Education options
CONS:

What an efficient way to begin College, especially if no major has been decided. With or without the State Scholarship, the basic coursework can be taken in a convenient location in Nevada, and at reasonable rates. CCSN offers a multitude of associate degrees and counselors to help. What an impressive deal for newcomers and anyone who wants to polish skills.

PROS: A Wonderful Value.
CONS: None.

I used CCSN to get a lot of my lower level classes out of the way, and their online classes are excellent. The professors are mostly nice, depending on your learning style, and it made balancing school and home life much easier.

LOVED this campus because it had the status of a college/university, yet the feel of a small town high school. Campus is primarily an indoor campus, (Like most high-schools), with a lunch room, library, and gathering spots. At prices for each credit considerably lower than that of the sister college, UNLV. Credits are transferrable, and is an economic way to get the lower level classes/credits under your belt. A great social environment as well, with many groups, and social activities well planned, and well publicized. Lots of culteral and artistic events presented on the school grounds. LOVED this campus.

PROS: Top Knotch Education/Lower fees per credit/Transferrable classes
CONS: A bit off the beaten path... A little further to drive...
